THIS. Consistency brings EX-PECT-TATIONS...and that's when Dak crumbles (typically).
I need you guys to stop being goofs for absolutely no reason at all but just based on vibes.

This play is an example of TEAM consistency.
Dak has thrown that same pass at least 4 times and this is the 1st completion.

Football is not a 1-man job.
It takes 11 to be consistent.

Turpin had a return TD if not for a hold that actually pushed them very deep into their own end.

Outside Dak playing with his finger swollen and taped he has been consistent.
He was great today because he got results from the playmakers but he has bought time in the pocket and given them chances all year.

not if we don't fix our OL play style. this is abig, strong physical OL, instead they are forced to play on their heels, wait and react as oppose to take it to the opponent, which is what they are good at. even Martin is struggling with it. on all passing downs, they are all on thei heels playing catch up with the DL men. if we change OL style play, then henry could help
Yes i agree. This blocking scheme is not working

Right now the Niners don't really have a viable QB and thats because the pieces around Purdy have been injured. See, I been saying this for 2 years, he is a system guy that is a point guard. As long as he's on schedule, on his mark, and in time, hes fine. But the minute he loses those elite pieces around him, he can't do it. He gets off time and is frankly, bad. He is Ty Detmer 2.0. Thats fine...u can win like that, but everything around ya has to be fine. Hès an athletic smart kid. He can't carry u. Dak is better and it aint close.

Yes this is his first test at adversity and he has failed miserably. 3 losses in a row

When I watched that game yesterday I was again struck by just how er.. average .. Purdy's arm is. Some of those throws took forEVER to get there. That one where the DE basically plucked it out of the air on him when he was rolling and probably trying to throw it away was very telling. He is deadly accurate when he has time but get him moving around, make him throw off-platform and things get really dicey for him. I'm no more willing to bury him this early in his career than I was to anoint him as some others have done. He's in year two.. he's a work in progress.

well said. Thats the key, moving him off his mark , thus making him a bit off schedule. Cleveland showed the league the template by doing that. Now every team is doing it. I said this would happen right after they were beat in Cleveland. This is a copycat league and once u have film on ya, things can change fast. Last year, teams didn't have that much knowledge about what he could do. But they sure do now. Losing 3 games in a row is a huge deal. Shanahan is up against it.

yeah, the cowboys generally seem to struggle against niners. reminds me of the 90s, when they owned us until they didn't. at some point we need to get over the hump. right now they are in our heads and that's not a good thing. I just think they are not a good match up for us, as we are built for speed and we are a finesse team and niners are physical and tend to intimidate us. my biggest surprise is how weak our OL has been. my expectations are that the OL should be, could be more physical but instead they tend to play on their heels, specially on pass protection. I don't like the new OL philosophy. we should take it to the opponent as opposed to wait and react to them. we have a big physical OL and should play that way. and then there is pollard who is a scat back playing RB1. we need to have a more physical runner. so it goes back to my earlier comment, we are a finesse team based on speed.
Yeah it’s why I want Henry. We need to add a piece that can punch you in the mouth time and time again.

IS!...my favorite play of the season so far. Three things happened that i LOVED!

1) Sent the big fella in the endzone and he was surely covered!
2) Dak through it high and away. PERFECT!
3) Ferg went up and got it with his hands. (didn't bounce off)

More please!
Agree, this was a perfect throw. The INT (I know people get sick of hearing this) wasn't on Dak. The DL tipped it.

Gallup increasingly looking like wasted $, while Cooks is amazing.

A flat out laser from Dak, a vertical route for the TE, and a great catch from Fergy...beautiful play.
it really was. Dak was 2016 Dak yesterday. Deadly accurate, and in rhythm. The 1 int really wasnt his fault. If we score there, we win with a 50 burger. If Turpins TD isnt called back, we are near 60. Fathom that. This Rams team isnt garbage. They have studs all over the place. But this shows u when we are on, what we are capable of doing. BTW, we are doing this without our all star LT and DB, Diggs. Thats pretty dang special. MM outcoached Sean McVey all day. Coached circles around him actually. No one has even mentioned this yet. Dak and Mm were clicking .

agree. Cooks was beating his man all day. on the 2nd ceedee TD he was also wide open standing next to him, Dak had a choice. He chose Ceedee. So Cooks could have had 2 tds himself. I think bringing him along slow in this new scheme is smart and we are seeing Cooks now, what he can be here. He has made Ceedee even better.

That was a thing of beauty. Been waiting for the TE’s to start making plays. They’ve been close all year. Great read by Dak on the safety cheating towards Cee Dee and just a fantastic pass/catch. That play, more than anything, gives me hope this offense can continue to produce. Of course, him running the ball when necessary helps out tremendously as well.

Yes it was. Please bench Gallup's butt permanently and focus on CeeDee, Cooks and Fergy.

That reminded me of dozens of Romo to Witten TD passes down the seam of the defense.

I recall just 3 weeks ago after they beat us how the announcers, media said Brock Purdy is elite and special, this is his team now officially. I knew that was flat wrong. In fact, I bet ya they are kicking themselves right now for trading Trey prematurely for almost nuthin. I know they have Darnold, but I aint buying it. They essentially are married to Purdy for the next 2-3 years. The media already crowned the Niners, Shanahan and purdy after they beat us. Honestly, I am not impressed with the HC in SF. His system is fine but he seems 2 minimize the value of having a better than decent QB. That will be why they don't get 2 a SB. They have everything else. But in todays league, u better have a slightly better than good QB or u will get beat. We are seeing the real Niners right now. It exposed their lack of talent and depth behind the starters when guys started 2 get hurt, then the dominoe effect was, it exposed purdy. The Joe Montana mask was esentially removed.

Burrow showed the world yesterday what an Elite QB is vs Purdy. He blew them out on their home turf. I bet that didn't set well in SF.

Ferguson really did a good job catching that throw. Dak put it where he had to (might could have brought it down slightly) and Ferguson had to catch the nose of the ball with one hand and pull it to his other hand to secure the catch. Not an easy feat.
