Nope. I think we would have seen far more muscle injuries from Roy if that were the case. As it is, he was very durable, and his recent injuries were bone-related.

I think he just played at a physical level that was unmatched by anyone in the league, and his body can't handle it anymore.

You don't go from being one of the best safeties in the league, finishing 2nd for DPOY, and many claiming he was a future HOF and could push Lott as the best Safety of all time to just an AVG guy.

Maybe you don't remember how good Roy Williams was because i've never seen a player fall off that hard.

Thank you Roy. I was a fan when you played at OU (Which is rare for me cause I HATE OU) and I was thrilled when you became a Cowboy. I was proud to say that Dallas drafted Superman. I only wish Superman could have stuck around for longer but I'll always be grateful for the plays he made.

I miss the original Roy Williams that was knocking guys out, but then that guy disappeared. Somebody put a body snatcher seed pod next to him while he was asleep and he got replaced with a lesser copy.

It should have been a HoF career here for 8 to 11 years or so with Dallas as a dominant safety, but it just didn't work out that way. Such is life. Thanks for the big hits and other big plays.

Thanks Roy for the first 2 years as a Cowboy, but after that your play wasn't worth two 50 cent hookers.
