The Thank you Roy Williams thread

Anyone else think he may have entered the league fresh off steroids?

Nope. I think we would have seen far more muscle injuries from Roy if that were the case. As it is, he was very durable, and his recent injuries were bone-related.

I think he just played at a physical level that was unmatched by anyone in the league, and his body can't handle it anymore.

Thank you Roy Williams. Prove your critics wrong and always know that you will always be a real Dallas Cowboy in every sense. Good luck fella.

Another stupid comment.

You don't go from being one of the best safeties in the league, finishing 2nd for DPOY, and many claiming he was a future HOF and could push Lott as the best Safety of all time to just an AVG guy.

Maybe you don't remember how good Roy Williams was because i've never seen a player fall off that hard.

Seeing RW go hurts a helava lot right now but its for the betterment of the team and at the end of the day, thats all that matters...GOOD LUCK ROY:star:

Thank you for making some memorable tackles.

Here's to Roy for all the great years in Dallas. He's a class act and I hope he winds up getting a good deal somewhere else (just not in the NFC East).

Thank you Roy. I was a fan when you played at OU (Which is rare for me cause I HATE OU) and I was thrilled when you became a Cowboy. I was proud to say that Dallas drafted Superman. I only wish Superman could have stuck around for longer but I'll always be grateful for the plays he made.

Good luck man. I hope you have a return to form and prove a lot of people wrong.

Thanks for nothing.

I hope you do end up in the NFC east so I can watch you chase our receivers into the endzone then point at your teamates.

Or watch your pathetic tackling technique as you lower the shoulder and watch the RB bounce off and get another 10 yards.

This guy truly deserves a thank you thread, he`ll always be a Cowboy in my book.

Thanks for the bone crunchers over the years.(except for Emmitt).
Favorite play was the interception touchdown return in Philly to win the game!

Thank you for the first few years, not so much on the last few though.

Good luck to you Roy. Class act of the NFL. It's weird I kind of grew up watching him. Hate to see homegrown quality guys go, but I wish him the best.

Roy, good luck at your next stop. Will definitely miss you...

Ps... Didn't I tell you not to get involved with that chick from destiny's child??? Career went down the drain after that.... LOL

Thanks Roy Williams. I will miss that man, one of my favorites. I will buy his jersey no matter where he ends up. Later Roy

I miss the original Roy Williams that was knocking guys out, but then that guy disappeared. Somebody put a body snatcher seed pod next to him while he was asleep and he got replaced with a lesser copy.

It should have been a HoF career here for 8 to 11 years or so with Dallas as a dominant safety, but it just didn't work out that way. Such is life. Thanks for the big hits and other big plays.

Thank you Roy for all the great memories and plays and for being such a class act. My second favorite Cowboy of all-time, right behind Emmitt, and you'll always be a Cowboy in my eyes. I know bleed the silver and blue. You'll be missed.

Blah, the guy shut it down after a couple years, constantly blamed teammates for his errors and showed a complete inability to accept criticism. :(

are yall so classless that you cant remember the good hes done.......there are plenty of RW38 hate threads this one is to say thanx for the good

Thanks Roy for the first 2 years as a Cowboy, but after that your play wasn't worth two 50 cent hookers.

I'd rather lick a toilet seat at a mexican restaurant than see Roy play Saftey in Dallas ever again. Good Day. :)
