In a real world, you don't get 7 seconds to throw the ball, so the line gave him ample time to get rid of the ball, but he can't read defenses so there's that...

LOL...he's one of the best in the league at reading defenses. You want him to let go of the ball when no one is open?

how about complaining dez got destroyed all game by CB's that I cant even name.

The long developing plays in the passing game dont help anyone.

Give me our running game with playaction and shorter routes. We can still take our shots down field when we get one on one.

We have really regressed on third down. 3rd an 5 we are running 12-15 yard routes. This needs to be cleaned up. Slants to Dez need to move chains.

I am wondering if this is part of this as well... I have never seen the league make a team play a night game followed by a Thursday game... luckily in exchange for this we will be on an extra 3 days rest next time we play the Eagles.

P.S. Why am I not able to post a new thread?

They just looked slow and lethargic and out of sync. You can't play a tough game on Sunday night that ends at about midnight and then get on a plane come home and turnaround and play again Thursday afternoon with a qb that has a back problems.

An offense run by Romo is never completely smooth. This is why it takes so long to get us going. I just want to see another good QB behind this line and in this scheme. I'm just not going to support this guy anymore, he's a scrub.

I've seen romo play much much worse. Everyone around him sucked. Including the coaches. The oline was bad. This doesn't even make the top ten of bad romo games. This was a team loss.

Romo played really bad post 7 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter... but by then it was all on Romo and the Eagles knew they didn't need to fear Murray at all. In 2 weeks we need to give Romo chances in the first half when they have 10.5 in the box.

3rd best QB in the league this year ratings wise after 12 games, with an 8-3 record... yep totally need to replace our QB, not our secondary.

He is a fantastic QB when all the other parts of the offense are performing at a high level. I just don't think it's reasonable to think you can put a game on his shoulders anymore and expect to consistently win.

Dude we all know you hate the QB that is 8-3 this year. You don't have to keep reminding us.

The hurting part is that he's not actually a scrub. We've seen real scrubs play QB for this team. Romo is simply not good enough. The Cowboys and a certain group of fans treat him like he's a megastar though.

No QB can win consistently with the entire game on their shoulders. That includes Brady and Manning. I suppose maybe you could say Rodgers is good with the game entirely on his shoulders, but that is 1 QB out of what, the 150 that have come out of college in the past 10 years? Is it really realistic to believe that even if we were to draft a QB we would strike Rodgers?

Our offensive line wasn't that good today, I think we watched two different games.

Well, I suppose you can say the same happened to Philly at GB. But, darn it, this was a HUGE game AT HOME. Why?????

He made a quick decisive throw to dez for a first late in 3rd Q. after a blitz but he rarely does this. So the routes r there but he prefers to wait and look at other reads.

I am just baffled at how he won't get rid of the ball sooner. He can do it but chooses not to.

Someone whose opinion I trust stated that they think romo holds ball because he doesn't trust his teammates or game plan. So he holds as long as he can but will let it rip once he is out of time.

Which means that on most passing plays he will hold as long as the line lets him. So no matter how much you try to improve line. Tony will still throw under pressure.

I honestly have to think... tough Sunday night game then a Thursday afternoon game... that has to have something to do with it. The defense was getting huge breaks from the offense in the first quarter but they still couldn't catch their breath or McCoy for that matter. Romo's best day is generally Thanksgiving... I have to wonder if it really was just as simple as the league screwing us over with this schedule (then not flexing out of it when it was obvious that the Cowboys/Giants wasn't going to be as interesting as the Seahawks/Cards).

Romo is just not a running threat. Never was, never will be. It's a shame because a QB who could at least make defenses pay with his feet would make this offense almost unstoppable.

That's why I don't understand people who discredit Russell Wilson just because he doesn't throw for 300+ yards and 3 TDs every game. He would be the PERFECT QB for our offense right now

Don't think you can put this on the short week...
