We are nearing the end of "list season." It is that period between the draft, free agency and the start of camp. Always glad to see it end. Seems like a lot of posters, bloggers, and even beat writers start some kind of list our of nothing else to talk about. I will be glad to see it end again this year.

Novacek was that brief Plan B free agent thing that I never got how it worked and it only lasted a couple of years. It was closer to like expansion drafts when each team a couple of players exposed.
