The trade with Cleveland

has finally proved that it was not a good deal, at least for us. That question is now answered. I never liked that trade and I never liked Morgan receiving abilities (the way he caught the ball).

I liked his size and his speed, but that was it. I do not think he has the mental toughness, nor will he ever be able to change his habit of the way he catches the ball, I think it is too late to change his way of catching the ball.

Saying all that, I believe that he will be a good asset for the Steelers because of the Deep speed.

Some people took offense to Morgan's statement about Parcells. What he said was true, BP does have an agenda, he wants to win and win now, Morgan did not fit, no because of BP's doing, but because of his own (Meaning Morgan). he played or practiced himself out and off the team.

Yes BP has an agenda, so what if a player says that, it is the truth.

Things work or don't work out for a reason. We lost Morgan, but got a possible stud in Crayton in the 7th round. It usually evens out over time......

For christsakes, who cares?

It's behind us now.

The trade was still good in my eyes. We were going to most likely release Bryant anyway, so we went out and got the best talent to try to fill the void he left. In hind sight, it didn't work out, but I'm not going to whine about it.

If Bryant ever shows that he is more than a tease and a malcontent you'll be right. At this point it is just a trade of garbage for garbage. And don't give me that "having a great preseason stuff" - showing it when it counts.

Obviouslly you care, if you do not like the thread, ignore it. That would be the mature thing to do.

You're probably one of those people that got upset because Morgan said that BP had an agenda.

Garbage for Garbage huh. That shows how much you know. If you did not see the talent that both guys had and what they bring to a team, I feel sorry for you.

I guess you never heard " that how you practice is how you play in the game".

Bryant showed that he was more than a tease while he was here, Malcontent, lol, he was never called that until he threw the jersey in BP's face.

BP, got what he deserved, I'm not siding with Bryant, but BP is a buthole and he does provoke those guys. He is a good coach, and I like what he is doing here but I will always associate him with the Giants, he will always be a giants coach in my mind.

If both guys had talent, what again is your problem with the trade?

Who said that, Randall Williams?

Bryant showed that he was more than a tease while he was here, Malcontent, lol, he was never called that until he threw the jersey in BP's face.
He was roundly criticized the entire previous season for free-lancing routes, taking plays off and crying on the sidelines about not getting the ball. Don't you remember some of his late season sideline blowups the year before?

BP, got what he deserved, I'm not siding with Bryant, but BP is a buthole and he does provoke those guys. He is a good coach, and I like what he is doing here but I will always associate him with the Giants, he will always be a giants coach in my mind.

And therein lies your problem, because it seems like your problem has very little to do with the trade itself......

You people need to be posting that "get over it junk" in the thread where everyone posted there there response (anger) that Morgan said BP had an "Agenda".

I merely posted that He (Morgan) told the truth, and I gave my reason why I agreed with him. That was it, I'm glad Crayton beat Morgan. As I stated I only liked Morgan's speed and size, that was it. His toughness and receiving abilities I did not like.

Crayton will be around for a long time in the NFL

My problem with the trade is that Bryant is so much better than, than Morgan and he showed that while he was hear. Yes , both guys have talent but it is not equal, Bryant is better he is complete. So I do not have a problem with the trade like you are thinking.
You may like Key, I like Key but at this stage in his career, he is not better than Bryant, and even if they were at the same age I still do not believe Key had more talent than Bryant. You and I both know the kid should have been starting, are at least if he was given a fair shake he would have beaten Key out for the starting spot.

Who said that, Randall Williams?

Walter Payton, was the first I heard say that, in fact I read it in the first book that he wrote back when I was in high school. Irvin is another one I have heard say that , Rice, is another one, in fact you can probably find that every great player has said that.

He was roundly criticized the entire previous season for free-lancing routes, taking plays off and crying on the sidelines about not getting the ball. Don't you remember some of his late season sideline blowups the year before?

So knock the kid for trying to make things happen, he would not be the first receiver that cried and threw fits on the sidelines, because he did not get the ball.
Wow, I cannot believe you posted this stuff.

And therein lies your problem, because it seems like your problem has very little to do with the trade itself......

My problem? What Problem?

Yeah I remember the tantrums, but I also remember tantrums by other receivers that are great receivers.

No, I don't care about the trade.

I care about the threads that pop up once a week and waste our time.

Please stop. We know what you feel now. Stop.

Please.

Stop.

Please!

That's the difference - you might take it from Moss or TO - you aren't going to take it from a player who hasn't done anything yet.
