If we get a repeat of last week and Dak stinks up the joint, this could get very ugly and very fast. Unlike previous years, Dak has competition and Trey Lance is breathing down his neck. Dak needs to play well and Dallas needs to win in a convincing fashion. Dropping to 2-2 and losing in a similar way like last week could make Dak’s seat a bit more hot. The fans might very well chant for Trey Lance and that should bother Dak.
Lance is not ready to take over for Dak but the chants will start if Prescott throws 2-3 picks

how many times did the cardinals punt? I am not and have never been a Dak fan, and yes, Id like to see him put us on his back when need be, but that is likely just not gonna happen. Anyone that thinks Trey Lance is as good as Dak is a moron, has not watched him play, and will be chanting for him only because of when he was drafted. He is NOT close to being ready.

By the way, Mike's play calling SUCKED. We were down late and running out of time and hes calling running plays from the 8????????

He certainly does care. Why are you pissed? They are going to have double digit wins just like the last 2 years.
The loss to Arizona happened because Dak and his Cowboys got arrogant just like every year! They read the hype!! The Cowboys are better than Arizona oh come on!!!!

it kind a hurts my stomach when I see dak setting on the bench all by himself and nobody will come by and let him motivate and lead them to wins. It hurts, bro, hurts.

This coming from a guy who says Parcells sucks yesterday and only has one SB win on a missed fg.
Then he makes a thread today about how good our offense is when half the points are defensive. :omg:

Give it a break.
I didn't say Parcells sucks. I said he won a Super Bowl on a missed field goal. I actually knew Parcells at Texas Tech.

Ever heard of the 'thousand yard stare'? It's a military thing for combat vets who are shell shocked and just stare out into emptiness because their mind is so messed up. They are emotionally detached from the traumatizing things going on around them. Occasionally we see Dak doing this, but when he does it we refer to it as his 'deer in the headlights' look. The two seem a bit similar....

Anyway, Dak is sitting on the bench by himself because he keeps doing the crazy eye stare thing that he does. He scares everyone.

Trey Lance is not even the backup. He isn’t breathing down Dak’s neck because he can’t beat out Rush to be the backup. I suspect if Dak and Rush went down, they would sooner call Carson Wentz or Matt Ryan before letting Lance play.
Rush is most certainly QB 2. If Dak gets yanked over all the fans crying, we may see the Red Rider before we see Tray Lance, right?

Only on Cowboys Zone. Five days ago it was Super Bowl. One loss and the sky is falling and it's Trey Lance time.
And Dak wasn't the problem.

Brady gets a pass when his line is out of play, but Dak is to blame with arguably his top 3 missing from the lineup.

That logic is ludacris, and brings all the woodwork, tinfoil hat guys out.

Even Mahommes needs his top 3 OL to win.

He's human.

Just generalizing how reactionary fans can be. One loss does not a season make, nor did starting 2-0.

Fans here are using one bad game against the Cardinals to rationalize the idea that this is what this team is going to be the rest of the season. Prisoners of the moment.
Sure. And some are saying...no big deal man we got this!

Like we always do of course.

For the record...here in my house...I cheer and swear until the bitter end! But not gonna dictate to other people they have to do it MY way.

I doubt Dallas will lose two in a row.
