To me, that DeSean Jackson move showed how much real power Kelly has at this point.

And I see that continuing for at least the next few years.

There are two things that aren't happening.

1) The Eagles aren't losing their next two games to NFL bottom feeders.

2) Chip Kelly isn't getting fired any time soon.

Agreed. But there is a chance that Chip could lose some of his power on the personnel side. Right now the GM basically rubber stamps whatever he wants to do. Letting go of DeSean Jackson and drafting Marcus Smith look to be two horrendous decisions. This last draft class in particular has been invisible.

Not only this but continuing to leave Bradley Fletcher one one one turned out to be a major mistake. The guy needs major safety help.

Collapse? I don't think so. I hate to say this, but I would be very afraid of that team if they ever got a marginally talented QB. Both Foles and Sanchez suck but overachieved under Kelly. If they ever got someone who didn't suck then look out.
