Oh, there are definitely some levels that will test your patience. Lol

I'd say overall though, as a whole, it's not super hard. As long as your somewhat handy with a controller.
It's the quick side world levels that send you back to the beginning that made me want to tear my own fingers off lol. And then once the later levels open...yeah I've been more patient with Souls game bosses haha

Just purchased a Meta Quest 3 headset, anyone have any game recommendations that aren't shooters?

It came with Batman Arkham Shadow and picked up Golf+, both seem like really good games but would like to add a few more.

Report back on what you think. I have been kicking the idea around of snagging one. I already have a PSVR2, but I really REALLY want to play Batman Arkham Shadow. I hear it's absolutely fantastic.

Other than that, I'm not sure what else I would use it for, so I'm curious if there are any other cool features on it you could share. I'm pretty sure it has some good augmented reality (PSVR2 does not have that), so that is another curious thing about it to me.
Oh, as for a recommendation, if you enjoy music (I know they have this on both PSVR2 and Quest 3), grab Beat Saber. Just a super fun game, especially after a couple of cocktails.

I got my son PlayStation VR2 for Christmas.

I’ve never ever used a VR system. But it was on sale at target for $350 and he has been wanting one for a couple years now.

I am looking forward to having it in the house because it’s kind of a gift to me as well lol.

Any recommendations for games? I got the bundle that included Horizon call of the mountain. But wondering what other games would be good to get once he opens it on Christmas.

Beat Saber and Synth Riders are both really fun games if you like music-oriented games.
Max Mustard is a really fun one, but it's a pretty short game.
Tetris Effect was a fun one. Not super VR-y (is that a word? lol), but it had some cool visuals.
Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge was a really fun one.
Gran Turismo 7 is outstanding. It'll make you want a racing wheel.
Moss and Moss Book II are incredible. Two of my favorites.
Kayak VR looks really good in VR, but it made me motion sick.
Crossfire Sierra was really cool. I'm not sure how old your son is, but it's a military shooter.
Walkabout Minigolf is a fun, chill game.
Angry Birds VR. It's exactly what is sounds like. It's Angry Birds in VR. It's pretty fun.

Those are some of the ones I have experience with. I found VR games are very hit or miss. Either way, it's a very fun and unique way to experience games. Hope you both enjoy it.

Also, there are a TON of horror games, but those just aren't my thing. I'm a little scaredy cat.

Only a few hours into it but I am enjoying it so far. The hand to hand combat takes some getting used to but overall it is a good game.
I finally jumped in and played for a couple of hours last night, and I totally agree. I’m enjoying it overall, but the hand-to-hand combat feels a bit meh. Glad you can at least pick up items around the map to attack with. Seeing that stealth was heavily involved (so far) almost turned me off. I'm just not a patient player. Luckily, the game lets you go in 'guns blazing' if you want, which is a relief. Loving the storyline so far, though. I took all of next week off and plan to sink some hours into it.

Anyone watch Secret Level? Some really cool stuff. The Pacman episode was nuts. And they're making a new game out of it.
