Tessanne was the most consistent throughout the competition, even if I didn't like some of her song choices. The other guy never really had a chance in the competition, but I like him and hope he gets a deal somewhere.
I like lil Miss Jacquie, but she needs a vocal coach to learn the more subtleties of singing. Singing loud ala Patti Labelle all the time won't sell many records.
Agreed. I'm glad the voters got over the whole teeny bopper appeal of Jacquie and looked at Tessanne as the pro she was. I think her being from Jamaica helped, as well. She had an international appeal too. So even if she doesn't make it big in the U.S., she can still be an international star.
