Biting off more than you can chew is never a good thing. When the consequence is facing Negan's wrath, seems you'd what to avoid that at all cost. Over estimating your own ability to win a fight can be a humbling experience. Rick and gang will find this out soon. I'm just curious how costly it will be. Negan is a brutal leader of the Saviors in the gothic novel. I can't wait to see how true to that characterization the TV series adheres to.

Frankly I was shocked that someone was not killed in that episode...kind of considered it a given going in.

We know the comic sometimes deviates from the show, or I should say the show deviates from the comics but I think it is probably a safe assumption to say...someone is going to get killed be Negan just like in the comic...I don't know if it will be the same person...actually think it might be someone else. However it has to be a main character as it will have to have serious weight to make him the serious bad guy that he is to be.

I haven't read the comics so I don't know what's going to happen. Either way I was thrilled with this episode. I like the proactive attitude Rick and his crew are taking. It was only a matter of time before Negan and his goons would find them...so why wait with your arms crossed. Get it done Rick

The two previous times they made you think he was going to die only to pull him out made me think it might be someone else... But maybe you are right either the foreshadowing and the third time is the charm.

I'm not convinced that it's him... I think the list is pretty small in order to create the emotional outrage needed to end the season.

if they flip him that could be very interesting. will also show what kind of actor he is but like you, i thought he did a great job in that role. almost too good.

Whatever is left of the Wolves is still out there. Maybe those killers will attack The Saviors too. The Walking Dead world is getting too big. There needs to be a purge of characters. War with The Saviors is the perfect way to accomplish this.

I think it is pretty obvious it was meant to be Negan...since were talking about Negan and the neganites...and he accidentally put an M instead on an N.

But...I have been wrong before in what others meant to say.
