The way Dak was celebrating after we went up 20-19, you would think it was no time left

I fault Dak for how he stalled for most of the game. But don't blame him for celebrating as he perhaps assumed the defense would hold and do their part to win the game.
Do you blame Dak for being pinned on the one once and inside the five another time. Do you blame him for running for a first down only to have it called back because CD reset. Do you blame Dak for his back up left tackle for being lost several times. You people are stupid.

He still hasn’t lined up here with the starters to my knowledge. Then no one actually knows whether he has made progress or this system works better for him. Until that happens we’ll never know. We’ve seen Dak come up short the last 7 yrs though. Looks like this year too.

I’d roll the dice on an unknown or get a veteran, but insanity has been well documented here.

He can't beat out Cooper Rush for the backup job and so far has shown no ability that he can take over and be the starter.

That fool didnt know Miami had 3 mins left and only needed a FG??? He is a goofball
lmao what? So Dak and almost all of the offensive players and everyone on the sideline celebrated the TD. It's not Dak fault the defense couldn't make a stop. Remember all that talk in the beginning of the season about them saying their the best defense. lol Well that was their chance to show it.

It's reminding me why I used to stop coming here after a loss. You'd think this team was 5-10 and not 10-5.
I hear you, but honestly, you guys who get on your soap box about this, has it ever been any other way? Fans always overreact. Fan is short for fanatic.

AND let's not act like there is nothing to see here. There is legitimate reason to be concerned with this late season slide and inability to win on the road.

If I can't convince you as a fan, I'll refer to Mr. Aikman who also said it was worrisome that this team can't win on the road because that's where they're head quickly in the Tourney.

Pressure rates in this game:

Dak- pressured on 42 percent of dropbacks.

Tua- Pressured on 5 percent of dropbacks.

No, no, the Cowboys defense had nothing to do with this loss. Blame Dak.
I'd be really curious to know if that is because we dialed it back, trying to contain the run. That's been a bit of a pattern. Get gouged, stop playing hero ball, and lose a ton of pressure.

That's a massive part of why we have to get out ahead, so our dline can focus on pass rush. They are a different defense otherwise.

Of course it's worrisome, but it's not to the exaggerated level to say we won't beat Detroit or Washington, and will then lose in the first round to Tampa.

Perspective isn't that difficult. They lost a tight game against a very good team. The Dolphins are loaded on offense and their run defense and pass rush are nasty. Had they crushed us like Buffalo I'd feel differently. It's still a tough loss, just not end of days.

The main thing is all these guys crying and predicting doom and gloom will be on the edge of their seats come playoff time. It's nonsense.

They didn't score quick enough. They needed to score with 6 minutes to go not 3. If they do that, they would get the ball back with a chance to win.

I was thinking the same thing. After last week they were so worried about the run that they decided to dial it back. Miami plays different than Buffalo. Once again our coaches outsmart only themselves.

Man the moment they got in field goal range I said play tight, take chances. Either get a turnover doing so, or let em score. You knew they were gonna milk the clock and our defense played right into it. At some point acknowledge and step aside.

Lunacy to give MIA the last possession.

Dallas' best chance to win was by letting MIA score early on their last possession, instead of being inevitably bled-out, with no time to respond.

We'll never know, now.

Oh I absolutely get it. Everyone deserves a place to vent.

What I don't like are the personal attacks and name calling. It's uncalled for. We are all supposed to be Cowboys fans. While I've been in the middle of plenty of arguments I can take pride in the fact I have never called someone here a degrading name or insulted their intelligence. At least I HOPE I haven't.

It's fine to have disagreements. But remember you never know what the person on the other side of your screen is going through in their lives. Calling them a name or poking fun at their intelligence could trigger some individuals; especially if they are dealing with health issues.

In the spirit of the holidays at least, let's try to show some more compassion. Because, after all, what just happened is just a game.

I have experienced life and death. Trust me, losing football games on the road is not it.

And now I will get down off my soap box. Happy Holidays everyone.
