Your logic. No QB or offensive player is ever allowed to celebrate a TD when the other team has a good offense until the game is over. A QB can't celebrate a go ahead TD late in the 4th and should have the belief that his defense isn't going to hold the other offense to win the game.

Trey Lance for traded away by the Niners and on a team which overall has a better roster than the Cowboys, with better coaching. If you think he can do better than Dak then I guess we would see if some ever got their wish of Dak leaving and the team being left with Lance or no other option to play starter.

What did Lance do differently on the 49ers enough for them to decide to keep him even as a decent back up for Purdy? They got rid of him even after what happened to them in the playoffs last season and didn't even think he could carry their team in a case that Purdy got hurt again.

This was still a very solid game, mistakes and all...against a top offensive team. Both Dallas offensive tackles were lost at sea. 5 field goals by Miami, and Dallas stepped on their own toes in the first drive...that alone would have changed things, as would a dozen holding non called penalties against the Dallas defense.
