Pollard may get stuff but Pollard always breaks a run for a TD or a big gain. If he had more attempts he would have scored a TD.
Why say stuff like this? When was the last time Pollard had a big gain? You have to to all the way back to Jacksonville for his last 20 yard run. The previous week against the Texans Zeke had the only 20+ yard run and the week before that against Indy everybody had at least one.. Then against the Giants again Zeke had the only 20+ yard run. The fact of the matter is since Zeke came back from the missed games he has more 20+ yard runs than Pollard does. But again.. it should never be about that.. It should be about getting guys in position to make plays and winning games not worrying about who is doing what. If the line blocks all our backs can do damage. I firmly believe that when the line is getting its collective arse handed to it, our best chance of any sort of running game is Zeke because of his ability to push the pile and wear the defense down. Then once he does, we can turn Pollard loose on 'em. But Moore is never going to give him the ball enough to let that happen. He's simply not patient enough to play that way..
