I hate clowning on anyone in the silver and blue. Since, Roy's hands are so bad though I thought I would ask If you can name anything more dependable than his hands. I had a 1990 mazda mx-6 with 210,00 miles on it more dependable than his hands. Can you beat that?

A post-game radio caller made a good point about how RW always wears Longhorn gear and seems stuck in his glory days at Texas. The more he gets beat up by the media, etc the more he reverts to those long ago days to reassure himself that he is an elite WR and loved.

Time to wake up Roy and admit to yourself and the public that your performance has not even been average by NFL standards since he has been w/the Boys. The days of living off your college rep is long over.

It's almost like a nervous laughter. He smiles ear to ear EVERY time he screws up. Ask him after the game and I bet he still thinks he has the best hands in the league.

Ya know who else does that? Romo and Miles Austin. It's not a nervous laughter as much as it is them laughing at themselves for making a silly mistake. I (and many others) have done it hundreds of times, in and out of sports.

This is a non-issue.....the T.O.-like drops however, are not. Williams, Austin, Crayton AND Witten have left too many catchable balls on the carpet the last 3-4 weeks in my opinion.

I bet Romo is frustrated . 9 doesnt even look his way much. I wouldnt have any confience in RW either. Im a Longhorn homer but the guy blows straight up.

I might be of the day-late, dollar-short variety, but I'm hesitant to just jettison Roy. I still think there's something there. With that said, it's clear he doesn't have Romo's confidence, and understandably so. You could see Romo's disgust when the camera shot to him following Roy's big drop.

What's baffling is that early in the season Roy seemed to be all over the place with his route running, but he didn't seem to be dropping too many balls. Lately, it seems as if he's where he's supposed to be, but he proceeds to drop the ball.

He's definitely leaving me wanting to see more of Ogletree at this stage.

It's too late for Ogletree to suddenly start taking alot of snaps now that we are really kind of in the playoff stage of the season. We should have let him play more in less stressful situations. We'll probably continue to spot him for a few plays every week.

I'm afraid that we're stuck with Roy. Count on the Eagles do double Miles and single cover RW and come hard after Romo. We need RW to produce next week and every week from now on. These teams will do everything they can to prevent Miles and Witten from beating them. They will try to put it on the RBs, RW and Crayton.

Agree.

I was alarmed when he stayed in college his senior year just because he said he loved college so much he didn't want to leave. If you have personal academic goals you still want to achieve, or if you think you need another year to work on your game before going to the pros, that's one thing. But he sounded like your typical lazy underachiever who stays in college for as long as he can because he doesn't want to wake up and go to work every morning in the real world.

I don't care anymore.. As long as we keep winning i couldn't care less.

We'd have one or two more wins if he wasn't starting...and he could cost us dearly now in our seeding or in the playoffs. So how you shrug this off I can't understand.

Agreed. I definitely think there's something to the notion that the stage, as we sit here today, is simply too big for Roy.

He's used to being a demi-*** (in high school and college) or being somewhere where the team is completely irrelevant (Detroit). He's never faced pressure like this IMO.

Rainman I think you might be on to something here. He seems to wilt with pressure.
