A successful college coach should never aim for Dallas. In college, they call the shots, they hire the staff they want. In college it's rare that a top program has to "rebuild." They can usually just reload with top talent year after year. There are no limits like the salary cap or a Players Association to worry about.

As for college coaches, I like Sumlin and Shaw. For out of coaching I prefer Gruden over anyone else. And for current assistants I really like Carmichael Jr. and Kroemer as offensively minded guys.
