A bigger issue is the fact that we kept, cut, resigned Rush when he can't lead this team to a playoff. Minshew played well this game, we could have signed him .

hush... Minshew would've given Dak serious competition for the starter position and we don't want that. FO will never , EVER draft or sign a serious QB that could expose Dak. Dak is secured for at the very least the remining of his contract. Dallas will NEVER have a top 10 Team starter quality QB as a backup. Although at the moment some teams at the bottom of the ranks could sign Rush for starting QB. As it is Rush > Foles this season.

Apparently you never read what I said or you have a reading disability.

You went all the way back to week one to make a point about him putting up 3 points.... but then you downplay him putting up 40 points on the Eagles who had the NUMBER ONE DEFENSE at the time the Cowboys played them. That's a REALLY dumb statement.

Now here's where your reading disability kicks in.... I clearly stated in my post that Dak IS NOT elite.

But then you brought up a question about "where was this elite qb" .... as if I called Dak elite, but I clearly didn't. Either stop reaching for things that aren't there, or upgrade your reading skills.

I never threw shade at Rush and I was in full support of him while he played. As a matter of fact, I'm on record on the forum saying that if Rush was to play solid vs the Eagles the first time we played them, he should be the starter for the rest of the season even when Dak was healthy.

So that's the first lie you told.

I never said anyone who doesn't anoint Dak is "cowardly haters". The people who are the Dak hating cowards are the ones who never give him credit when he plays well, place blame on him for defensive collapses, place blame on him for receivers dropping passes, getting hit while throwing a pass, or a receiver running a wrong route in which all those situations led to interceptions. Half of those interceptions ARE Daks fault, not all of them but the low IQ people that I'm talking about blame him for every last one. Most of all, these Dak hatin cowards disappear after we win, but post all week until their hands bleed when we lose.

So that's another lie you told.

I went to their last 3 Superbowls as well, where we're you at?? I guarantee I've been to more Cowboys games in two seasons than you have been in your whole life.

I like Rush and think we are fortunate to have a backup like him, I never once doubted who the better QB was, Dak hands down. Somehow around here if you say that you are a Cooper Rush hater and that is a load of BS. Rush helped save this season very happy with him and hope he returns as the backup QB next season

I never thought much of Rush. he is considered one of the luckiest player sin NFL. get on the field and benefit from a hot defense. except the defense coulnd't stay hot and caved in soon after and his glass cinderella shoes got lost.

reminds me of Dilfer getting lucky with Ravens, except that ravens defense continued to be one of the best ever defenses, if not the best. helping him to get a superbowl ring. No one will ever mistake Dilfer for a real QB.

For all of the people calling for Cooper Rush to get back in. That's dead!!! Cooper Rush isn't capable of playing the type of game Dak played today. He's a CAREER BACKUP FOR A REASON!!!

Dak is by far our best quarterback. Is he elite??? Absolutely not. Is he very good??? Absolutely!!! Dak led in a win over the best defense in football ON TOP of having to deal with more damn penalties.

So ladies and gentlemen.... that whole "put Rush back in" crap is put to bed and dead as a door nail.
