The worst we've ever seen

and 2015 was Garrett's chance to shine and show his employers and this fanbase that he can win a few games (at minimum 1 game) facing major adversity (losing Romo for the season)

he couldn't do anything coaching wise to will his team to 1 win after losing Romo. I'm sure he's a great person off the field, but he is not an NFL caliber coach. PERIOD.

So you think anybody could walk in and coach the Cowboys to a 64-51 record? Is that you Jerry Jones?

Wow you people find a lot to argue about!

Let's see......Oh, Tom Landry didn't have a single playoff game until 1966. Jason Garrett has how many.....2?

If you just want to argue, we can do that all day long. Won't prove anything. Won't solve anything.

You’re comparing a coach who took over an expansion team in the 1960s with a coach who inherited the most prolific passer in franchise history and a generationally great pass rusher in the primes of their careers. Your argument is poor, hence the disagreement.

Of the coaches who’ve been with one team since 2011, Garrett is one of only two without a SB appearance. So, yeah, a lot of coaches could do what Garrett has done here.

i think you completely missed my point

but to answer your question, I do think any of the other 31 current NFL coaches could coach the 2015 Cowboys to 1 win MINIMUM after losing Romo

One was one of the most innovative minds ever to walk an NFL sideline who inherited an expansion team and had to build a roster from the ground up.

One is the clapper.

You forgot the guy from Arkansas who I believe started a game, was Kevin Sweeney level bad, but at least Sweeney had the excuse of being a munchkin scab.

Clint Stoerner from Arkansas. Sweeney actually did decent in the strike season...
