I don't see Oakland taking a QB. Not even Young. They drafted Andrew Walter out of ASU last year and signed Aaron Brooks. That's too much invested at QB to ignore other needs this year.

A couple of days ago I would have completey disagreed with you, but after talking to a couple of guys he played against this year, you may be right. They said he was "better than the hype" and if you get him in the open field you are not going to take him down...he very well may be the best...

I say don't draft him because I think a quaterback should throw, running risks too much for him, see M. Vick, the elder, (prblly would have won or atleast made it to a super bowl w/ out the broken leg)...that being said though after hearing those guys talk about him, im thinking he may be worth the risk....

and as far the Cowboys not picking a QB becuase of Parcells, I think that is no longer a viable argument. After the TO signing I think its pretty dang obvious who is running the show...again...

If Young did fall (as unlikely as it is, it's not impossible) and we had a chance to get him, why not?

He's a much better prospect than either of the two (journeymen?) we have backing up Bledsoe. Everyone wants a Qb of the future and Young is as good a prospect as you're gonna get. A leader, a winner, clutch and wildly talented.

I think Vince Young will be the best quarterback of this draft class in three or four years, but he is also the most unpolished. He will need some time to learn from the bench due to his expereince running an exclusive shotgun offense. I really hope Dallas can get a quarterback this year. I have a feeling that Young or Cutler will be there at 18.
