There’s not much belief in this team

If the Cowboys can put together a ‘clean’ effort - don’t turn the ball over, don’t make drive-killing penalties on offense, don’t make drive-extending penalties on defense, reasonably manage the clock, AND win the turnover battle… they are capable of knocking off ANY TEAM.

Will that happen? … 25+ years of trending history suggests not often enough to win a Superbowl. Heck, not enough to reach a conference championship game. But we’ll keep hoping. Right?
Sounds like they have to be perfect to win.

Unlike years past, it feels that fans and the media are just not hopping into the bandwagon with this team.

Dare I say it, I think we will go into an underdog for the first two playoffs game if we are so lucky
haven't read all the posts, but Dallas will not be an underdog against Carolina or TB12

East Coast biased media is shaping the narrative.

I remain confident and believe in this team. We've seen the Cowboys overcome many games that would have led to losses. For example, we don't go 4-1 without Dak under Red.

They lost games they held leads in (Packers, Jags) but for the most part they handled business (12-4).[/QUOTe

Until the Cowboys get the 27 year old monkey off their collective backs, it’s completely understandable why much of the fan base and media are not buying in. In fact, there’s not really a bandwagon to get on yet IMO.

I have hope in this team for sure. Do I have faith in this team? No. You can’t create believers until you’ve proven you’ve done something outside the norm. The norm for this team in the 21st century is to flirt with being good but folding when it matters most. They’ve done it over and over. Until they crack that glass wall, why should there be “belief”? I don’t fault anyone who believes or doesn’t believe. It’s all part of being a Cowboys fan.
Its not a monkey on their collective backs. Its a solid lead piano they need to get off their backs

I'm probably the outlier then.

I feel pretty confident that they will win their WC game and with how flawed the rest of the NFC is this year, nothing would surprise me after that.

The Vikings are pulling it out of their tail every week, the 49ers are rolling with a 3rd string QB (though he's pretty decent) and the Eagles, all of a sudden, have injury issues.
None of the teams "look the part" right now.

This is a solid, well-rounded team. Not great, but that's not required this year.
The loss of Biadasz reduces the chance that they will make it through the NFC. Perhaps they can do without him vs. Tampa but they absolutely need him by the divisional round. Peters at LT for any extended period of time worries me. It might be better if they moved him inside next to McGovern if Biadasz can't make it back. Put Tyler Smith, who is more athletic, back at LT. You don't want to have overt o-line issues versus either San Fran or Philly. Prescott will turn schizoid.

High ankle sprains typically aren't solved in just 17 to 24 days. We can hope but it might be a long shot.

They are very good. They can win every game that they play. If they get beat it will still be an exciting close game. Enjoy the ride. I love it!

I love your attitude bro:thumbup:

I wish all Cowboys fans would take your advice and just enjoy the games and lets see what happens.

If we lose, then so be it. We will have the entire offseason to discuss what went wrong. But for now, just enjoy the ride because there are 18 teams that are going to be sitting home on Wildcard weekend wishing they were us.

Most of us have PTSD as a result of this team. We've learned if we don't expect much, we won't be severely disappointed. Which is how it has turned out most of the time so you can't blame us for being that way. Let's try it again and see how it goes this time.
