There are often 25 on D and 25 on O when there are the normal 3 special teamers. Obviously that's a generalization and it's likely that won't hold this year.

With the depth at DB and LB I could see the Boys going long here. They could go 6 CBs even 7. Safeties could be 5. And OLB is always a place to add one on a 3-4 team. I'd expect maybe one extra safety, CB and OLB. That leaves room for another player on O or D. But they will put the players on the PS that they think will get thru waivers and try to keep the ones who just won't make it or you don't think you can live without. There is generally one or two players who look like an improvement to the top 45 spots. Those can push a trade if we're lucky or those unexpected cuts.

Of course it's way speculative and no way to see trades or unexpected cuts. And they are the ones with the inside info and long term outlook.

But I'd say really four open spots is more likely. And right now I see one not mostly earned.
