There go our hopes of Willis falling to #22...

that is 1 big claim man

It happens all the time during the draft.
I would have loved for him to be there at 22.

Patrick Willis ran a 4.37 forty at Ole Miss' pro day.

Hot damn. The NFL will probably take his 4.49 forty at the Combine more seriously, but that's a ridiculous time for a 237-pound linebacker no matter how fast the track was. Willis looks to be the first linebacker off the board in April.
This guy and Robert Meacham were my top 2 hopes for round 1 after I gave up hoping for Laron Landry.

Landry is surely a top 10 pick.

If 5'11 Ernie Simms ran a high 4.4 was picked at #9 by Detroit, Willis could be a Top 10 pick as his talent warrants the position.

Yeah bu, Remember ole Boss Bailey ran a 4.3 something. Champ came out saying his brother was faster than he was..... Doesn't mean much. Is Boss even a starter?

First round Talent is drafted in the first round, unless they have character or medical issues.
That is just a dumb comment.

i went to law school at ole miss and have followed Willis his whole career. no question he is a stud. he plays through injury and is a natural leader. all that said, I don't see how we could justify taking him in round 1. who sits on the bench? james? Ayodele?

not sure if it's reliable but footballs future.com reports willis ran a 4.37 forty at ole miss pro day.

Thats DB speed he is a tackling machine to i would love for him to fall to 22 he would fit perfectly in the 3-4
