Bah... I'm just seeing 2004 all over again. It began the same way. The other teams struck first. We stayed silent telling ourselves it would be okay. "Any day now Jerry, any day. Uhh.... Jerry? Are you there?" :D

Oh, by the way, I was one of the apologists in 2004 too, saying we were doing the right thing. Doh! Signing big names sometimes helps.

Oh come'on TBC!

You know better than that! LOL!

Get yourself a 6-pack and calm down! You're wiggin me out too! LOL!

Umm bentley has never ever been mentioned attached to our team...get over it.

Watch for names like kory kovier, marcus coleman, runyan maybe (doubtful) longwell...names that actually have been mentioned with our team. guess what WE PROPABLY WONT GET ALL OF THEM EITHER!!!!

YOU DONT SAY!

As far as 2004 was concerned, it looks as if we thought we were in better shape talent-wise than we actually were. Plus, there was an issue of over-spending for players. I believe then that we needed a corner, correct? Which FA CB available then, set the world on fire?

I keep checking the news around the league and there doesn't seem to be much movement at all. Heck, within the NFC East theres only be one signing. Don't fret.
I noticed this also. FA seems off to a slwo start.

We can start talking about most of the moves by next saturday. by then a lot of stuff will be done. but on the first day a lot of stuff hasnt been solidified because of the uncertainty of the cap i am sure. not that people were working anyway but now they have to work a little differently I am sure.

It got Philadelphia to their first Super Bowl.

Unless we're counting the Dick Vermeil-coached Eagles team that lost to the Raiders in Super Bowl 15.
