Roy had 4 catches for 75-yds. Not a bad game.

Oh, and he kept his mouth shut and didnt piss and moan.

Better than Steve Smith, and he's suppose to be top notch.

Did RW drop a ball in the end zone? Did any WR score a touchdown? Our number 1 is the tight end.... When we face a good/strong team we will be dominated. We will not make it far in the playoffs with the tight end as the number one.

Whats funny is the Dallas offense was supposed to be completely inept once TO left because he did everything. He backed off coverages, he drew double teams, and just how will Dallas ever score.

Well in 3 games we have tons of yards and almost 90 points as an offense.

Teams are still selling out against our pass and that is why we can walk up and down the field with our running game right now.

Please... PLEASE sell out against the Dallas running game. Thats all I ask from our opponents.

If you have Tom Brady, Brees or either Manning...

We do not.

We faced a good, strong team last week and we were not dominated.

Why is everyone so infatuated with this number 1 receiver nonsense. How many teams even have a number 1 in the NFL. Maybe 10 teams total in the league have a number 1 WR. Did the Giants have a number 1 two years ago or Pittsburgh in 05 and last year. You don't need a number 1 receiver to win in this league. What do those teams have in common: a strong defense, a qb who doesn't turn the ball over and a defense that creates turnovers and gets after the QB.

Because #1 WR's are deep threats as well. I love J-Witt but he isn't going to get many YAC. He's the most reliable player on offense and is the security blanket for Romo, but to call him a #1 WR is silly.

Witten has a bad tendency to drop immediately on contact. It's the one little itty bitty thing you could be critical of about him.

But he's still Boss.

.

We are the number 3 offense in the league and are average 429 yards a game.

Clearly this offense has simply fallen apart without a #1 WR.

If he's not a top wr anymore why are teams guarding him with their best db and not Lee Evans? I'm just going off of common sense and reasonable logic. Y'all are talking with hate. It's pretty obvious.

Isnt a top WR suppose to beat a top CB and/or double team a little more consistently that say um 5 catches for 98 yards over 3 games?

I mean seriously Steve Smith had one less catch and almost half the yards last night covered by a top CB (Newman) and doubled by a FS (Hamlin) that half this board says sucks (not trying to say Hamlin doesn't suck btw).

Let's see what we have.

Receivers in the top 31 in yards = 3
Receivers in the top 15 in yards per catch = 3
Receivers in the top 16 with 20+ yard catches = 1
Receivers in the top 8 with 40+ yard catches = 3

So what exactly do you mean when you say we don't have a number 1 reciever?

Wide Reciever on this team...Crayton and RW can not get it done.

They can't? Funny they're doing a far better job that TO is doing in Buffalo.

what does that make T-OLD then? Roy has better numbers than that baby in Buffalo

rampage do yo allow your hate for TO make you make ridiculous comments. QB play (yes romo is still better than what TO has) and coaching style (dink dink dump) have a lot to do with that. Plus their oline is terrilbe.

And Ogletree will soon be making his debut. I think he will be a nice slot receiver. Hurd needs to sit and we need to see Ogletree in action.

The lack of a "true" No. 1 WR may be better for the team in certain ways. The defense has to realize that any WR may get the ball thrown his way. It also keeps Romo from forcing the ball to any one WR. And the other WRs know that if they are open, Romo will look for them.

well if he wasn't suck a moron and could keep his mouth shut he would still have Romo as his qb.

I saw:

  • flashes of greatness from RW11
  • Crayton make some key catches
  • Witten is ol' reliable
