MM get on the headset as HC says Kellen get Malik in the game NOW . Simple . Buck stops at the top . Not in the middle .
Not that simple. simpler, fire the OC and take the reins. done

ironic a HC like Seattle's PeteC allows a QB to throw on the 1-yard line vs running with one the best short yardage back in the game and both the QB and HC doesn't change the play called by the OC and its pick for the LOSS!

.its the nfl big game big moments you are supposed to trust the one you brung.. KM choked on his own blood and its now gone.

More useless hype from the Cowboys PR department. I fully expect them to trade for a running back

RJones likely the RB2. Even the RB1 if TonyP struggles due to the freak leg injury.

Almost all the other RBs are scrubs.
I think I will reserve judgement on Vaughn after preseason. Jones is probably most experienced NFL RB we have & not the same wear and tier as Zelle or any FA available.

A lot of you said that they wouldn't beat the Bucs and Brady in the playoffs and the Cowboys dominated them and Dak was excellent. I could see them winning in the playoffs this year if they get the number 1 spot.
I mean...........what he just said about Dak you could say about 98% of all QB's in the history of the NFL. To expect any QB to beat 3 top teams in the playoffs with no run game, poor Oline play, and a lack of receiving weapons is near impossible.

As if we should dump Dak because of that. LOL

Dallas will find out this season they screwed up at RB, just as they found out they screwed up on WR last season.
I am seeing some similarities. Banking on a guy coming off a major injury - Gallup at WR last year, Pollard at RB this year. Signing a guy on the cheap - Washington at WR last year, Jones at RB this year. We will all find out eventually

Specialty plays often can turn momentum around, and this set of players for the Cowboys should be chunked full of specialty plays!

Threat of the running game is dictated by your ability to run not the name of the running back.

Your ability to run is based on your offenisve line and scheme and not the name of the running back.

As I stated RB hardly matters.
A truly special back that can make people miss or power through people can make a difference. That being said, you are 100% correct to say that with a good offensive line an average back can be very productive.

They're have been so many undrafted rookies who have put up very good numbers only to decline every year. By year 3 they are bouncing around PS and by year 4 they're usually out of the league. RBs in general but especially UD and late picks

That is due a three year window a really good runner is drafted and becomes much cheaper to retain. Special teams for a running back is a very tough road to try and stick around...

And for a while he was. Then dropped off.

Well, this may not be a popular opinion for some. But Rush and Brown seemed to have a chemistry. But Dak and Brown as so much. So that may be why the drop off.
Yes they did. It sure looked like they were familiar with each other. I assume Rush threw to Brown a lot being on the 2nd unit offense together. Once Dak was back - it was back to Lamb and Schultz being the top targets. The drop-off was inevitable once Dak came back.

Could we all as well, been taking Pollard a little too much for granted?

The 128th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft is coming off his first Pro Bowl season with the Cowboys in 2022. He was a Top 10 running back in the league last season and is expected to be so once again in 2023. His explosiveness and versatility as both a runner and receiver makes him one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the league. He should be even better this season as the Cowboys new RB1.
