There's nothing wrong with 3-3

I always have some level of hope unless I see things playing out on the field that indicate I shouldn't. And the team was 12-5 last year, so it's not as if they were on a downhill slide before free agency started.

Every year is different, and results can be different even with little change, or losing a player or two that were prominent the year before. There's a reason they play games instead of deciding outcomes on paper or by the feeling of fans.
Yes but before FA begun we had released what 5 or 5 starters in Cap moves. And we didn’t actually replace them with anymore than the draft picks and former draft picks would be developed enough to pick up the slack.

Much of that concern is playing out now in real time from weaknesses about our running game, OL, depth at WR and ability to stop the run.

I am still trying to figure out what personnel group improved over last season.

I can't think of one.

I guess you erased the GB game from your memory.

That was not a slide. That was a fall off the cliff moment.

After that we only payed more money to players that were already on the team and lost several starters.
As I said, every year is different. As for the GB game, obviously that was a big disappointment, but we aren't talking now about losing in the playoffs to teams that are peaking at the right time, we are talking about just doing well in regular season games.

I wish every year is different. We have not been able to run the ball or stop the run for several years now.

Close your eyes and just get ready for the draft. The next 2-3 months will be ugly.

Micah does not love the game. He loves podcasting. He has already said he wants to retire young. Why is retirement even a thought in his mind at this point???
That means he is an excellent candidate for an extension in Jerry's mind.

We all saw Parsons laughing on the sidelines as the team was already losing by 30 plus points. And then he's laughing in this podcast. There's nothing funny about what happened. I think the fans took this loss harder than the players.

It was embarrassing, humiliating, and degrading. Our fans were humiliated in their own stadium- I saw multiple videos. I cannot support this any longer.

I think most saw us at 2-4 headed into the bye . And all of the negative rhetoric which would have followed. Our big surprising upset of Pittsburgh on the road provides us some leeway.

3-3 is manageable. If you’d of told me 3-3 with our schedule heading into season , I’d of took it.

We need to be rooting hard for Balt today. A win by Ravens and we are still only 1 game back in division, assuming we lose of course. And if Egirls win only a half game behind them. I don’t give Browns much chance.

So all in all not a bad place to be . We still have both games left with Wash & Phil ( who doesn’t look daunting )and another game with NY. Also have Atlanta, Tampa and Carolina left. Cinn and SF which I had chalked as losses aren’t as worrisome as originally thought. Houston may be like a road game for us. Im not interesting in dissecting these just a broad speculation.

I see potentially 5 or 6 more wins . We should still be in playoff hunt and maybe division. 8-10 wins( yea 10 is probably a little option right now) keeps us alive .

Who knows . If we get everyone back healthy maybe we could make a run. Not that we’d do much in playoffs but better to have meaningful games than not. No reason to get down after a loss today. No shame in losing to better teams .
Dallas may be one game back in the division, but they are also only one game ahead of being in last place. So that puts things in more perspective.

But trending down, so the 49er game will dictate if this trend snowballs or can it be reversed. All I can say is buckle your seatbelt and remember to keep your hands and feet inside the cart.

Last season Micah was healthy. His sack total average was .82 sacks per game. Nothing to scoff at but neither is the a foundational player.
Trade him before he demands more than quail money. While he is young.

That was because we saw how weak the team was not because we thought it was acceptable and when you consider how bad we lost and that one of those teams was the SAINTS, then yes it's still a bad start by a bad team.

He's been really advocating this stuff lately, hasn't he? Covered in that disguise called "being reasonable".

But that's not being reasonable. It's been the excuse of this organization ever since the late 90s. I don't have a problem with 3-3 itself. Nothing's lost at this point. I do have a problem with how we have gotten there.

This team is a terrible 3-3. On there way to 6-11.
We were pathetic against Detroit!!!

If you really want a Superbowl in our future you should hope we continue to implode. Maybe stupid old Jerry will clean house including firing himself as GM!!!

That’s very likely. Good news is we have Falcons following with a better opportunity to get back to .500
You really are satisfied by mediocrity.

If by some miracle they make the playoffs they will get boot stomped.

This team needs to go down in flames, 6-11 or so. Maybe that will wake up old Jerry.

Who said anything about being satisfied. I have just come to realize Jethro has lowered the bar here.

We are no longer a championship caliber franchise as a result. And expectations should be adjusted based on recent history.

It is what it is and Jethro isn’t walking away. I waved my white flag years ago.

Imploding isn’t going to change Jethro’s ways . I’ve given up hope we will see a SB for the rest of Jethro’s era.

He’s not changing his ways cause doesn’t have to. PSL’s are committed which means butts in the seats even if they broker to opponents which will keep the stadium sponsors signed . Equal TV revenue will continue providing his share regardless which game we watch.

When new stadium was built . Game over . All I have to hope for now is 17 meaningful games . Nothing worse than the season over by Thanksgiving. Here’s to a renewed hope once Jethro is gone .

It’s a false hope that a collapse would ultimately bring about the real change at the top this once proud franchise truly is desperate for. Maybe the next generation of fans will see a return to glory.
