Yeah we have to wait 4 years. Get use to losing. This team doesn’t have any money left after signing Dak and he isn’t good enough to carry a mediocre roster. He was a great QB on a rookie contract surrounded by stars , that’s no longer the case.

I see potentially 5 or 6 more wins . We should still be in playoff hunt and maybe division. 8-10 wins( yea 10 is probably a little option right now) keeps us alive .

Who knows . If we get everyone back healthy maybe we could make a run. Not that we’d do much in playoffs but better to have meaningful games than not. No reason to get down after a loss today. No shame in losing to better teams .

If we can get in the top 10 in the draft we can get a legit LT and move Guyton to the right side. Steele can be our ST. Then we only need a RG.

Draft our RB in Round 2.

Pay Micah early and get a legit DT in FA.

Does it really seem that complicated.
 
Like dating someone who forgets to use deodorant on one armpit. It's only half awful.

I would normally agree with ya, but it’s the way their 3 losses occurred. They were never seriously in any game from the 1st quarter on, and they were home games. It’s one thing for it to be a single game. Those kind of games happen. But the issues that led to those 3 losses aren’t easily rectified. It is inconceivable this team will be a playoff team. Sure, it’s possible, but nobody in their right mind would bet money they couldn’t afford to lose they would.

And this is why Jerry keeps selling FOOLS GOLD. This team has gotten their butts kicked in 4 straight home games and we get the above.

No way do you pay Micah. He's already showing signs of coasting here and he's simply not the player he used to be.

And the fact that they are all home games is even worse because it shows the players have zero pride.

The reality unfortunately is Jethro has lowered the bar this era .

And it could get worse . But for now we’re lucky to be 3-3.

If anyone thought this team was built for a playoff run they are crazy. So I am not so sure what everyone is really upset about.

If we maximize our potential we could win the Division, only to get blown out again in the playoffs. I know, Jerry will be shocked.

We are a borderline top 1/3 team - meaning:

We look amazing against the bottom 3rd of the league. We look like a SB contender.

We play competitive usually against the middle 3rd - fans are confused why.

Then we get exposed by the top 3rd off the league most of the time.

I think we should trade him, but we all know Jethro will pay him, even if he tears his ACL in week 18. So you might as well pay him immediately after the season ends, so we have money in FA.
 
I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but the way we lost those games shouldn't instill any confidence in any objective fan.

Yep. And I’m particularly incensed about that because I’m a STH. Football is entertainment and I don’t expect to win each game. That’s not to say I’m fine with 17 close losses, but I’m a realist. Bottom line is those games were not entertaining or value for my money.

The problem really is that this is an NFC game, which means it matters more than the Steelers game in that respect since that is a high level tiebreaker.

A loss would give the Lions a head-to-head tiebreaker advantage and would further lower the Cowboys NFC record.

The Cowboys have 3 wins this year .. 2 of the 3 have been against AFC opponents, so in the NFC, they are currently 1-1.

Of course the season is not over if they lose today, but it would really help if they win this game.

I don't think we have to worry about tie breakers this season.
