These Chiefs fans think they're gonna embarrass us

Andy's a good coach and he will build his team like a classic Philly team, solid defense, strong running game and short passing game. The defense is solid from top to bottom, Jamaal Charles is better than a Deuce Staley. Bowe is better than the Freddie mitchels and other trash he had in Philly. He's lacking the McNabb he will get a similar QB next yr.

They won't win tomorrow because Alex will have to out duel Romo and that ain't happening.

But what about McCoy's and Desean's and Mcnabb's and Vick's. Don't just name the scrubs he had.

He took those scrubs to the playoffs, which supports my point that this KC team is a QB away from being a good team. While I'm confident that we'll walk away with a W tomorrow I will not be suprised if they give us a serious challenge. I believe it will come down to Romo and Smith at the end and Romo will get us the victory.

What have they done to make ANYONE think that they're "most likely a playoff team this year in the AFC"?? Gimme a break guy.

They won a pathetic grand total of 2 games last year, got rid of their coach, then got fat Andy and Alex Smith and all the sudden they're a likely playoff team? Please.

If that is true that's more an indictment of how bad the AFC is more than anything.

Thanks for the kind words man. But it's just crazy in here sometimes.

A large portion of our own fanbase is reluctant to give ANY credit to the Cowboys at times, even after a big win like Sunday night's, and a lot of those same people are claiming the Chiefs are "up and comers" and "most likely a playoff team" when they haven't proven ANYTHING yet. I mean c'mon.

Sometimes all you can do is shake your head.

Also, as a side note, I'd like to point out that one of the main reasons fat Andy had success in Philly is Jim Johnson. That dude always had their defense ready to go. There's a direct correalation between the presence of Jim Johnson and Andy's success. So it's not a as though Andy is some sort of miracle worker.

I think they have a good team, before last week I had them down as a playoff team so beating the Jags had nothing to do with it. They have a pretty good O-line, a great runner with solid pass catchers and a serviceable Quarterback.Their defense is also very good. Their front 7 is tough to run against and their secondary features 2 of the better players at their positions in the NFL Flowers and Berry. The talent has been there for a while they had 6 or 7 pro bowl players last year all they needed was a quarterback. Alex Smith isn't great but is a very good game manager and a huge upgrade over what they have had in recent years. Just look at their team and If you don't think they have are a playoff contender in a very weak AFC this year then there is no point in you and I arguing because we obviously view talent and roster evaluations completely differently. So in a few weeks one of us will be right and one of us will be wrong. But like I said I view this team as a 9 or a 10 win team this year and expect them to be in the playoff picture all season long. So as a Cowboys fan I will be very pleased to go into KC and beat them tomorrow. I would view it as a really good win, Arrowhead may not be what it once was but it is still a very tough place to play.

Since when do you base a teams success on last years version of that team? And no not every realizes that no game is a given because my comment was a reply to someone who posted that they will be "shocked" if we lost to KC.

I don't think anyone was comparing Reid to Landry or Lombardi. Andy Reid is a pretty good football coach but nothing special.

I think the people that are saying the Chiefs are a tough team are basing it on their talent level and the improvements they made to their roster first and the addition of Andy Reid secondary. At least that's is how I view them. At any rate he is a big upgrade over what they had.

We complain because the wins are usually ugly wins which a lot of times leads to a loss the following week. It's one of those troubling trends we've been seeing with the Cowboys.

However, since you clearly are clairvoyant, how is it that you don't know that I tried to explain this to this poster before the game but well, he didn't listen.
