You don’t need to be part of the locker room to know there’s a confidence issue on the road. All 5 of our losses were on the road and one was to a bad AZ team. If you think the team feels confident about stringing together 3 straight road wins in the playoffs to reach the Super Bowl you don’t know what you’re talking about. Even the players are using the officiating as an excuse.
You don't know that the Cowboys will only be a road team in the playoffs. So stop putting the cart before the horse. The Cowboys can still win the division and the 2-seed with two wins and a Philly loss. You don't need to be a part of the locker room to think you know it all, which you do.

Every time we catch a break we lose. Everything was right there for the taking and we blowing games. The odds say we’ll be on the road throughout the playoffs. If you don’t like my opinion, tune me out.

We aren't talking opinions, we are talking facts. The Cowboys still have a path to the 2-seed. If you want to ignore it, that's your prerogative. Go ahead and pretend the 5 seed on the road is the Cowboys' only path to the playoffs.

Anyone that still believes in this team until they are actually holding the Lombardi is a fool. This has spanned numerous coaching staff, some of which were very good and 3-4 complete roster turnovers, some of which were very talented. Through it all, one thing remained constant. When confronted with a well coached talented team with a playoff mindset late in the season, they fold. They are easily out coached, out played, out muscled, and prove to be mentally weak. There can only be one explanation why the same trait stays while new coached and players come and go. The culture is rotten and produces mentally weak players who buy their own hype the moment they make one good play and lay down without shame when punched in the mouth. There have been a few players along the way that have broken the mold but they are not enough to overcome everyone else’s weak nature. Nothing will change until the culture is fixed and coaches and players are held accountable.

We are talking opinions because the team lacking confidence after their road struggles is an opinion that has a lot of merit. The Cowboys have a path to the number two seed but things have to happen and they can’t seem to get out of their own way. They could have easily been the number one seed but their road struggles even against a bad AZ team did them in. Their road struggles are going to end up being their undoing in the playoffs, which is another opinion.

Every team in the NFL plays 17 games, it's not like the Cowboy are suffering under some unique handicap.

Why do some of our best players seem to disappear around this time?

It sometimes feels as though the young players reach a certain level of play midway through the season and then stop.

Every team has injuries
All teams are worn down by the end of the season. The Cowboys are not unique in this. Stop whining about something all teams experience.
Absolutely all teams wear down. However, do they all begin to lose games in December? No. Somebody is winning those games.

I'm sure the Ravens, 49ers and Dolphins are worn down, but they continue to win.

TY! 100 i was about to ay the same thing.. The only difference is you have to look at the schedules and who they're playing and where they're playing this year was brutal all the road games against some of the best teams.... And I don't think every team plays those three games in 12 days and we've done it twice in many seasons. This place just goes totally insane trying to find reasons to why our teams aren't good and why we've had 28 years of misery in their eyes it is just simple fact each game stand alone it's the schedule at who you play when you play it's a it is a matter of battling attrition which all teams have to do and a lot of teams wear down and they're not playing their best ball right now.. I mean if you think Philadelphia broke their losing streak because they beat on a really bad team you might wanna go back and check the fact that they beat it really bad team by one score to get off the Schneid as people say.. Well I have a pretty good idea we would have beat the giants pretty damn well and at some of the other matchups I mean the Ravens win was definitely impressive I'll give him that but that was mostly from the defense but is it because san Francisco's beat up and a little wore down I mean that's the only reason they signed that day guy it wasn't because they were trying to add depth they're inside guy got hurt and then they added a guy there are injury away from having another losing streak themselves I mean you've had some of the better teams in the league have losing streaks this year...

We're not the only ones..

We are going to take a look at the Cowboys from 2021 to the present. These are the McCarthy seasons., I don't include the 2020 season in order to be fair, too many events beyond anyone's control.

Anyway, I want to compare certain aspects of the defense in the first 12 games of the season to the last games. At this point, I will be comparing some average numbers from the 36 games that was part of the first 12 games of each season to the 13 games so far at the end of the three seasons. It will be an average per game

So, from the first 12 games of each of the past three seasons, we have these Cowboys ranks:

Average points allowed per game....#5

Average sacks per game.......#1

Average takeaways per game....... #2

Opponent QB rating..... #3

Won/Loss record......#1

Over the last three seasons for the first 12 games combined, the Cowboys defense is one of the very best, if not the best. They are certainly the best in certain categories

Now, let's take a look at this Cowboys defense during the last 4-5 games of the regular season for these three combined. Remember, this is the time when serious contenders will establish themselves while jockeying for playoff positioning

Average points per game.....#16

Average sacks per game......#16

takeaways oer game........#1`

Opponent QB rating......#7

Won/loss record......#10

The Cowboys give up an average of 19.25 points in games 1 to 12 over the past three seasons. In games beyond the 12th, they give up an average of 22.54 points per game. They go from 3.1 sacks per game to 1.8. Their takeaways remain consistent.

The Cowboys are tied with the Eagles for the best record for the first 12 games of the three combined seasons. However, the Cowboys record decreased by over ten percentage points past game #12.

Meanwhile, the four teams with the best records after the 12th game are the Bills at 92%, the 49ers at 85%, the Chiefs at 77% and the Bengals at 75% They know how to turn on that switch at the right time. The Cowboys have been turning on the wrong switch at the wrong time.

It's as if the Cowboys are constantly leading in a race but, as they make the final lap, they just run out of gas.

You can also see it in the personal stats of their defensive playmakers. Parsons is All-World during the first three quarters of the season and then fades into pedestrian the last quarter. Only three of Diggs INT's came in games after the 12th. When was the last time you saw a Daron Bland Pick Six?

Is it stamina? Is this the point of the season when Parsons begins to feel aches and pains of going up against a double team of three hundred pounders? This is an issue that must be resolved before the Cowboys can ever be considered serious contenders..
That is a sign of lack of depth.

It is no secret how this team is built. It is built the same way it always is. It is built in the image of its lord and master. We make decisions and build rosters that have nothing to do with January. I have wasted my time outlining the philosophies that are out undoing I will not bother to do it again.

Your opinion sucks! Someone should have pulled your Cowboy card a long damn time ago. Give it up right now and go find another team to lose faith in. The team doesn't need you to be confident in them for them to murder souls from here on out, starting Saturday.

You’re incapable of having a discussion without getting angry. If we keep going we know exactly where this will end up. I’m done wasting anymore time with you…Adios!

The 49ers lost three in a row and lost again last week but you conveniently ignore this to attempt to make up a narrative. The Dolphins lost three weeks ago to the Titans. You seem to have conveniently ignored that too somehow. Could it be all teams tire at the end of the season? Yes! One team in the NFL seems to have the staying power to continue to win. Ladies and Gentlemen. I give you the team destined to win the coming Super Bowl, The Baltimore Ravens!

I should stay on you for awhile so you can start cursing me again.
If I ever cursed at you, it would be the first time, but it's interesting to me that you perceive it when I'm calling you out for being the worst fan ever.

Although I agree for the most part but many teams do that at this point of the season but the key is to stay healthy and the Cowboys for the most part have with very few exceptions.
