Last year we were quite thrilled, Aikman and Rayfield went in, the year before we were jumping off bridges

I feel bad for them it sucks when someone you believe deserves it doesnt make it.

That said Monk did not deserve it over Irvin. The commitee made the right choice

Yes, but the fact Irvin got in and he didn't is the ultimate slap in the face and kick to the family jewels.

Well done, Hall voters.

I definitely think that Monk should be in.

That being said, Irvin is without a doubt more deserving.

I feel bad for Monk, he deserves it as well...as does the other #88 who played in Dallas.

I would

Monk= good player on good teams for a long time

Irvin= dominant player on dominant teams...played huge in biggest games

I would hope that Carter next year doesn't cancel Monk out.

It seems like it's an uphill battle for him though; he hasn't made the final six yet. He deserves too.

At least Green is a shoe-in next year.

I see. Based on that kind of solid, supported objective reasoning, you'd make a fine addition to the HOF voting committee.

They ain't happy in Eagle land either...lol

Oh yea a crackhead deserves to be in the hall of fame but pete rose can't get in baseball HOF cuz of gambleing??? whatever, I thought the HOF was not only how you performed on the field but how you represented yourself off the field too!! He deserves to be in the crackhead hall of fame!! Maybe they could make a bust of him with his crackpipe hanging outta of his mouth!

He really doesn't deserve it. If you think he deserves it check out Andre Rison's numbers. They're pretty close and maybe a slight edge to Rison.

They have a section of the hall reserved for receivers who specialized in pushing off?

Ok...I will get slammed for this, but: I feel that the "entire" player should be considered for HOF, that includes their off field activities as well.....how can our kids look up to a role model who does things such as drugs, drinking to excess etc....that tells them :"well If you can REALLY play football, you can be in the HOF no matter what you do off the field"....Is that the message we want to send to the kids? Look at baseball, Pete Rose will probably never make the HOF because of his off field actvities......They (baseball) seems to have gotten it right.

Only in the drug users hall of fame. He was a push off artist that used the inability of the NFL reps to have the b*lls to call offensive pass interference against a cowboy as his stock and trade.

I don't feel too bad for him, because even though Irvin got in, there are still two Cowboy WR's who aren't in.
