Improve your front seven and your secondary improves by default.Kill two birds with one stone.
Kindricks is my favorite choice not named Todd Gurley. But of course if one of the top offensive tackles slide I have a dilemma on my hands. I really dont know what I would choose.

My only sure fire choice is Gurley.

Hard to put any stock into who we bring in for visits. I've seen in years past where we have brought certain guys in for visits and passed on them for a player we didn't even bring in for a visit.

I think about the only sure thing so far is that we are very interested in the RB position due to bringing in every RB prospect under the sun.

Having said that, I wouldn't hate the Kendricks pick. I won't sit here and say anything I've seen on film makes me go "Wow, what a great talent", but he looks like a good prospect.

I wouldn't mind him at all because I love to upgrade the front 7 but I think BPA from value standpoint might be CB at 27

Me too. Either corner or RB is what I've been predicting... so of course it will probably be something else, lol.

I have a gut feeling that he is the guy Dallas will end up with.

Kendricks also has some flex according to Eberflus, with the questions with Rolando and health of Lee, he would be great pick.

Best LB in draft. Seems to be our trend. Him, Lee and Romac for 16 games would be elite.

Stereotypical tackle magnet LB who has been very durable. He doesn't bring a whole lot of versatility (not a great coverage guy) but we have Lee and McClain for that. He would signal the end of the road (after next year) for either Lee or McClain though I believe.

I said this before but Kendricks will be our pick if he is available * and gurley + malcom brown is not *

By drafting Kendricks, we will have an excellent group of LB's. High character kid with a high motor. Sign me up.

Lee - McClain - Kendricks - Hitchens is a nasty LB core. Best part is aside from Ro, 3 out of the 4 can literally line up anywhere on the field.

Keep in mind with Gachkar , he also is a flexible LB that can play mostly anywhere.

I would like Malcom Brown of course or KJ.. but Kendricks is going to be a very very good player regardless.

He sounds like a monster.. ...thanks for the info to all who responded...the coverage thing though...dont all three of our lbs have to be able 2 cover in this style defense where we play alot of zone..

Not necessarily. Moreso injury insurance to Lee, but I think it has more to do with Rolando than anything if he doesn't come around.

Hitchens did well, but if he regresses Kendricks could be insurance there too.

The Cowboys probably have 20 or so players with a true first round grade on their board. One or two might fall to 27.

I have a feeling this years first will be much more of a talent pick and much less of a need pick.
