The only argument @footballnflstyle seems to have is our lack of sacks.

News flash: we're undefeated since the last time we had a sack.

Sacks don't matter. Consistent pressure does.

I guess someone hasn't seen McCoy try to play QB in the NFL before. Seriously even if you where full strength we've beaten better teams, you're nothing to worry about

McCoy is an average QB but will be entering the game with a hot hand having completed 11 of 12 passes last week vs Tenn for 128 yards and a TD. It's not like Washington is going to put the game on his shoulders they do have Alfred Morris who's put up 482 rushing yards and 4 TD's vs the Cowboys in his 4 games against them. The Cowboys have never held Morris to less than 81 yards. I'm not saying the Cowboys aren't going to win this game but as high as they're riding right now they can't allow themselves to be lulled asleep because Washington is struggling at 2-5. I'll never forget after the Cowboys beat the Giants in their opener in 2011 up in NY everyone was handing them the Seattle game in week 2. One FAN on this board was laughing that the Cowboys would pulverize Seattle and their a rookie QB.

I wish that thread could be dug up because not one FAN on this board was picking the Cowboys to lose that game but I warned against over confidence. The Cowboys should win on Monday Night but I never take any game for granted and I hope they don't take this game for granted. A great season can be derailed by losing at home to a struggling team. In 2011 the Cowboys were 7-4 riding a 4 game winning streak into AZ.

The Cards had won only 4 games but walked away with a win the Cowboys needed. The Cowboys ended up finishing that season 1-4 and missing the playoffs. I know this is a different year and a different team but there's still 9 games to go and the Cowboys can't afford to slip up against a 2 win team that's going nowhere. A loss here could get the ball rolling the other way for the Cowboys so they have to be ready to play to maintain the momentum they have.

The current Cowboys team is not following the old formula. Anything can happen but I don't see any reason to suspect that there will be a let down tomorrow night. The Skins' fans should be the ones that are worrying. Their season is going down the toilet and it is not entirely clear if they have the answer at QB on the roster...

Weren't you the one who was boasting how the Cowboys would roll Seattle back in 2011 and welcome Russell Wilson to the NFL? lol You dogged Wilson the entire thread but were nowhere to be found after that game. Don't remember if you were part of the group that was predicting how many sacks Ware would have on Wilson. That thread was a perfect example of why it's best not to get over confident because anything can happen. Just look at this 6-1 start for the Cowboys no one saw this coming.

Yeah chocolate chip and don't send me one with raisins that look like chocolate chips because raisin cookies that look like chocolate chip cookies are the reason I have trust issues.

What are you smokin'?

I did say Wilson is overrated, and I still stand by it. He is only good when he has a dominate defense to help him. Wilson in today's game so far, is 14-24, 128 yds, 1 int, and a 55.6 QB rating.

So far the current team hasn't. Personally I don't see a letdown either seeing the game is on Monday Night but as I mentioned I don't any game for granted.

I'm pretty sure that the Cowboys won't take it for granted either. But after the smoke clears they should come out on top...

You're claiming that wasn't you who was discounting Seattle and Russell Wilson his rookie year entering week 2 that season?

Yes I said that about Wilson. Burt never said Dallas would win. So what. Wilson is good, but he isn't elite.

Congrats, you made a prediction that had a 50/50 chance of coming true. So if Dallas loses Monday are you going to walk around with your chest puffed out telling everyone I told you so? I don't understand what you are trying to accomplish here. I am sure everyone knows thats any given Sunday any team can win. As fans of course we have a bias, but nothing we say has any impact on the outcome of the game.

I never take anything for granted in NFC East games.

Yep, that's my POV also. Too many people drinking the Cowboys koolaid. But we have lots of work to do. We're a few plays away from 4-3 guys. So don't be too Super Bowl happy.

If you thought the Cowboys would beat up on Wilson than why wouldn't you say the Cowboys would win? The Cowboys were coming off an opening day win over the defending SB champion Giants on the road in their opener which gave FANS a lot of confidence heading into Seattle to play what "appeared" to be a bad Seahawks team. By the way one correction I meant the 2012 season not 2011.

I never said that. People were hyping up Wilson as the next great thing his rookie year. That he would be elite. I laughed then, and haven't changed my stance.
