Just because it wasn't called "superBowl" then, it still counts....which is important to US, because it's just a matter of time before the NFL changes the name "SuperBowl" to something else, monetized (like college football did).

We want OUR championships to stick when the name changes, so all other "NFL Championships" likewise count.

Way to in a round about way inflate Eagles championships. Sorry troll the Eagles have 1 of what matters a Super Bowl. Also why did you remove your post saying you hope the title stays in the NFC East? Even you realized you pushed the troll too much !

There was really just some unbelievably dumb stuff the team did. I think the season was ok. It's just the way they usually lose is embarrassing. Been like that forever. The last two playoff exits are insanely bad.

On the Bay Area sports radio, they were ripping us apart as being a very dumb football team. They said that MM and Moore are just dumb coaches and that Dak is not that bright when it comes to football intelligence. They were really ragging on Shultz for not going forward to stop the clock and then again for having no concept of a toe drag. There were other incidents that they discussed that happened in the game that they brought up. I can’t say I disagree with them

49er fans have viewed McCarthy as a dumbarse since 2005 when he was the coordinator of the worst offense in the NFL while reporting to head coach/good buddy Mike Nolan - remember him?

McCarthy was also, partially, tasked with determining which QB SF should take with the #1 overall pick in the 2005 draft and he decided Alex Smith was the choice instead of Aaron Rodgers who played across the Bay.

McCarthy is now 0-4 in the playoffs against the 49ers, 0-2 with GB and 0-2 with Dallas.

Why would 49er fans view McCarthy and the teams he coaches as anything other than easy marks?
