Rather than critique every individual player for me. I want to see some innovation on offense. I want to see the defense play as one. I only have two positions of Interest running back and defensive tackle.
you will NOT see this on film I promise, whatever is happening in that regard are in closed practices..no team would show new schemes to media filming sessions meaning we wont see it..

Draft picks obviously.

Kris Richard (pseudo-DCoordinator) in his 2nd year with the Cowboys. Coaches rarely get new schemes fully implemented in their 1st year with a new team.

Kellen Moore (OCoordinator) 1st year as OC but with the team since 2015.

I'm interested to see any players that did not play much or at all for the Cowboys last season.

Darian Thompson is an interesting depth guy. He started 16 games in 2017 for the Giants at FS but he projects better to SS.

Cedrick Wilson is a player I liked in the draft. I had him and Gallup as 2 of the top 3 route runners in that draft.

WR Devin Smith. Injuries have severely limited his chances to play up to this point. A 2nd round pick by the Jets in 2015. Had 30 TDs in college. Draft analysts called him the best deep threat in that draft.

Iloka at SS in the Kris Richard scheme. He is a physical clone of Kam Chancellor. He played mostly FS in his career but seems to project better to SS.

Hyder in the Cowboys scheme will be interesting. He had a great year when he last played in a 4-3 (2016).

Randall Cobb was one of my favorite non-Cowboys players at one time.

Can Tavon Austin stay healthy?

How does Frederick look after his illness?

Connor Williams progress is probably interesting to everyone. I'm curious if they have him take some practice snaps at OT.

Covington the DT is interesting. He looked really good in Texans game footage. He projects as a better fit in the Cowboys 4-3 than the Texans 3-4 (same situation when they signed T.McClain from the Texans a few years ago).

Covington the LB appears to be the best fit at SLB (other than moving Jaylon there in 3 LB sets). He was expected to have a slow start in the NFL because he was originally a QB in college. After an ACL injury he moved to LB where he played well. He was considered very raw as a draft prospect due his limited experience at LB. I thought he looked better physically than the now departed Damien Wilson.

Quinn will be interesting but his game is already well established on 'film" so there shouldn't be many surprises.

Noah Brown is an interesting player. He is the best blocking WR (college and pro) that I've seen. He wins blocks against LBs on a regular basis. He'll have to become more fluid as a receiver to keep his roster spot.

All of the young TEs are interesting.

DE Armstrong did some good things last year. Can he build on that? They'll probably draft another DE at some point in the draft.

What happens with CB Lewis? I would give him some snaps at FS. His tackling is way above average as a CB.

They liked OL Parker Ehinger enough to trade for him. He played LT as a Senior and OG/RT previous years.

Any young OT will be interesting to see because they lack depth.

Taco has talent. Just needs to get his head right with ball.

Olawale at RB.

All back 7 players in the 2nd year in the Kris Richard scheme. Jones, Brown, Awuzie, VE, Jaylon, Woods. Will Heath compete will Woods at FS or Iloka/draft-pick at SS. Who plays SLB? How do they use Lee (backup or WLB in 3 LBs sets with Jaylon at SLB).

Will Randy Gregory return? Marinelli loves his abilities, approach to the game, his work-ethic when at the facility and the fact that he came to camp in great physical condition last year.
I’m interested in every player, coach and ownership and how each performs.

I'm definitely stoked to see Cedrick Wilson get a shot. He is a player I keep forgetting we acquired but have high hopes for.

between him and Noah, someone should get cut, and soon T Austin will injure himself off the roster in a year or two sadlyy

I think Rush will lose his job this training camp and might not even make the roster. I usually only like to keep 2 QBs and use that extra spot on defense.
Could happen....white is much more like dak....throw when a guy is open, vrs throw him open
Would be more consistency in practice
Rush throwing people open just confuses and conflicts things lol

Interesting that in rebuilding the WR unit, we've focused on really good route runners. Cooper is elite in that regard and Cobb is not far behind. Gallup and Wilson show real promise.

I wonder if they look at Brown as a move TE if they dont land one in the draft
I love this idea, I was calling for it at the end of last year. His blocking ability is well documented, so free the beast a blocker who can run!

Nice stuff
Gonna be a fun camp
WR is gonna be interesting and I wouldn’t be shocked if we add another
The Dline with Quinn, Covington and Hyder should be good competition
Important camp for Taco and his future here
Seeing what Moore does with the offense is really major

I want to see Dak play a lot in TC and pre season
A LOT

He needs work on his mechanics and anticipation but also will need to understand and get comfy with new offense

I get what you're saying here. Until Romo and Moore went down, I used to feel the same way. Having 3 quarterbacks is a little overboard but then I ask myself what would have happened had we only had 2 quarterbacks when Romo and Moore went down? I think having 3 is a good idea or keep 2 but have a third that is on the practice squad for an extreme emergency.

Dak just took a beating this past season and got up every time. I'm not worried one bit about Dak going down hurt. Romo on the other hand couldn't take a tackle at the time without getting hurt. 2 different situations all together.

Worry not about Frederick. The beard will not fail. Here is my projection for him in the 2019 season:
