1) Old dogs can learn new tricks especially when the old dog has a younger version of self who is energized. I'm referring to both myself and JJ.
2) Change can be good but sometimes making changes just to change things up doesn't change the results at all. That reference is to my business and a certain HC
3) Light poles don't lie. They just lay on cars after being struck by cars, who knew. Also, driving a motor scooter after more than 12 beers is stupid. That reference also goes to self ( I had a motor bike once) and a certain WR
4) Intelligence goes to genetics. Smart goes to application of intelligence... see Dirvng and Twilliams (and #3 above)
5) Sometimes you should look a gift horse in the mouth. What?? Grandpa used to say that. Horses teeth are a good way to approximate age but what the old codger meant was, if you're given a gift just say thanks and don't open the mouth to check out the age. He was wise but those who don't check things out thoroughly often find the horse to be an old nag. Sort of goes to self and Dez who became an old nag
What you think guys... any life lessons you've learned recently that we could all learn from and applied to our beloved
