1) Old dogs can learn new tricks especially when the old dog has a younger version of self who is energized. I'm referring to both myself and JJ.

2) Change can be good but sometimes making changes just to change things up doesn't change the results at all. That reference is to my business and a certain HC

3) Light poles don't lie. They just lay on cars after being struck by cars, who knew. Also, driving a motor scooter after more than 12 beers is stupid. That reference also goes to self ( I had a motor bike once) and a certain WR

4) Intelligence goes to genetics. Smart goes to application of intelligence... see Dirvng and Twilliams (and #3 above)

5) Sometimes you should look a gift horse in the mouth. What?? Grandpa used to say that. Horses teeth are a good way to approximate age but what the old codger meant was, if you're given a gift just say thanks and don't open the mouth to check out the age. He was wise but those who don't check things out thoroughly often find the horse to be an old nag. Sort of goes to self and Dez who became an old nag

What you think guys... any life lessons you've learned recently that we could all learn from and applied to our beloved

After 20 something years of worshiping the NFL. I have learned there are far better things in life to spend my money and time on. My interest in the NFL has severely diminished since I had a kid. I feel as though if it wasn't for FF I would no longer care about the NFL in any capacity.

Life lesson is life is more important than this garbage league.

If you expect to be the best at anything be willing to endure pain ,suffering and sacrifice to get there along with outworking and thinking who is currently best .

Gambling , Shortcuts , party ,vacation , free time ,Drinking Drugs, are off the table .

How many guys on this team will commit like that Witten is gone so that's one less LOL So that leaves what Sean Lee and Jaylon Smith ??

I learned fancy sports cars look better in the city than on rough dirt roads.

Wanting a shiny new toy is usually better than having it. My barn is full of those that haven't been used in years.

Doing things the old way ain't nearly as rewarding as it sounds.

Notes to self almost always get lost.

I ain't as young as I used to be. My mind gets it but my heart ain't quite latched onto the premise.

I just recently learned that GARRETT doesn't suck that bad, I just like messing with the mods. Especially with @Idgit!

Really, man I learned something new today. Garrett, really? Man, now I have to think deep thoughts today on this one.
Dang, did someone put something in my coffee....
