You think Dak just now got exposed? Where you been?
.....and the TEAM got exposed in EVERY facet representing an NFL team, on National TV. Where you been? This wasn't something new. FG Kicker should go in this morning demanding more money.

Last season CeeDee proved to me that he was a true #1 ,not only in terms of production but also in terms of toughness ( which I didn’t think he had)

the problem with CeeDee is not having a #2 or #3 receiver, or legit running game, to take some of the heat off him. Cooks and Gallup have been non factors and the Tight Ends haven't exactly excelled either

Put CeeDee on the Chiefs, Dolphins or Bills and his numbers would be through the roof. He’s stuck with a dud at the Qb position and an inept offense around him.
Now wait a minute...I read on these boards before the season started that Gallup was better than Da'Vonta Smith and Pollard would run for 1200-1300 yards once given the #1 role.

1. Pollard. I still like him, but he absolutely is not an up the middle RB. Desperately need a pounder to side him. Going into the season w/ him as the starter and two more little dudes as backups never made sense.
2. DT-3 tech. Hankins was beastly last night, but the play of the guy beside him was just poor. I like Osa and Golston, I do, but they need to be the rotational guys. We need that guy, the one who consistently pushes the pocket and disrupts the QB. That is one of the reasons Micah was ineffective last night, not enough push up the middle. Mazi was a start, but we need to start building up the DLine w/ topnotch disruptors. Average is not getting it done.
3. WR. I like Lamb, but he's more of a 1B type WR. Need that monster there.
4. LB. Need better ones.
5. TE. I like Fergie, but we miss that getting open ability that Schultzie brought. I know, I know, y'all hate Schultzie, but we are missing the one thing that he does at a very high level: Getting open. It continually amazes me how that is so underrated by so many fans. He killed it for Houston yesterday, BTW.
6. S. We do have decent ones now, but we're still missing that CF ballhawk type FS.

Anything I missed?
1. Pollard looks good when the passing game is working. When other teams drop into nickel, or dime, he's able to exploit that. He's not going anywhere looking at an 8 man box, & at times struggles with 7 man boxes.

2. Agreed. We don't have Jerry's "War Daddy" run stopper in the middle. We've been exposed on the ground the last couple years. Parson's & Lawrence are rendered ineffective when up against a QB who can get rid of the ball quickly.

3. Agreed. We don't have a WR that scares anybody. Is it the chicken, or the egg..? Either way, good teams are able to sell out stopping the run, & or pressuring, & we aren't making them pay for it. How many catches/yards would Lamb have had if he was wearing red last night..?

4. 100%

5. I think Ferguson has potential. Is he as good as Schultz..? No. Can he be in the future..? Time will tell.

6. Our secondary looks great when we are getting good pressure up front. When QB's have time, they find holes. I think our secondary is adequate, & competitive. The real issue goes back to not getting enough pressure to force opposing QB's to take more risks. Watching the picks, & defended passes so far this season, most of the time, there was pressure in the QB's face, or he was being pursued. When we control the line of scrimmage, our secondary isn't an issue.

I could see Pollard getting 1200 yards because that’s only 70 yards a game but Gallup gave no indication whatsoever that he would be productive……the only thing we kept hearing was that Gallup wasn’t mentally ready last year and that he would be ready this year.

My real question is, “ what the hell happened to Cooks”. Hes gotten over 1000 yards receiving six different seasons but now he’d be lucky to get 600 yards ?

So you’re saying we need all pros at every position? Who would’ve thought!

I'm still thinking that Parsons might have been exposed as DE. Too many times last night I saw the RB run right by him.
Parsons never was a DE
Hes just playing there to get paid as a DE and not as LB

Cooks is a deep threat who now has a QB that can't throw a consistent deep ball. We saw it last night.

LOL, that was a big miss on his list. It was pretty obvious watching that game. The other QB who was drafted dead last was so superior to Dak, its not even funny
Bigger miss by you. As has been discussed, Dak was exposed 3 years ago. Where you been, under a rock?

That doesn't make any sense. Did you watch the game? If you did, and this is the best you can come up with, maybe message boards aren't for you.

Play calling, effort, injuries…

Injuries is a tired old excuse and not relevant in this loss.

Play calling sucked. More like, our scheme sucked.

Did Mazi play last night?
I didn't see him on the field.
