LoL no offense intended here brother, this whole thread is supposed to be tongue in cheek a little, ain't it? :)

Europe did produce quite a few sh!t boxes and still does, no doubt about that. Just realized at some point that 80s cars from America all looked alike at some point. The sedans at least. Many of them rode like crap too. :muttley:Doesnt mean there weren't quite a few awesome ones.
I used to be able to tell the make and model of pretty much anything, from a glance. Just the headlights or taillights on a dark road was usually enough. For me it was about the early 2000's when everything started to look the same.

I do miss being able to see the telltale headlights of a Plymouth Gran Fury from a mile away.

How to avoid hangovers:

#1: DO NOT go to bed drunk. Quit drinking a couple hours before bedtime. Take a walk.
#2: Before going to bed, take an alka seltzer, drink milk and eat bread or crackers.
#3: Hydrate while drinking.

Follow these steps, and your hangovers will go down to nothing.
Now this is the wisdom of age speaking.!

There are some advantages to getting old.

I think about this very often. I remember when you knew what kind of car was behind you at night, from 1/8 of a mile away.

"Is that a Crown Vic coming up behind us?"

"Yep."

"Quick, put that out and roll the windows down!"

You should see some of the explanations I get of what they want done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 paragraphs about oak trees and cowpatties and armadilloes. Not joking.
I find people who are heavily attached to their smartphones are less able to control their impulses (lacking patience )

Was that you in the back seat? lol

I'll never forget finding out the hard way that the local sheriff department had switched from the dark green Gran Fury to a white Chrysler K Car. Thankfully it was a hell of a lot less expensive back then, than it would be today. Mid 80's.

I got picked up hitchhiking by a state cop in a Crown Vic, one day. Knowing full well these police edition cars are a different beast, I asked him why the SP drove these old man boats. He smiled and proceeded to give me a little taste of how this is not your fathers Crown Vic. The difference was impressive.
