Things that Romo Brought

What I seen from Romo at times was that it looked easy for him to get offense rolling and moving the ball consistently. It looked easy for him on a couple drives, then he just made a couple mental mistakes and bad throws to cap them off. But he DID move the ball with ease in my opinion. Every time Bledsoe drops back in the pocket it looks like a struggle for him just to release the ball. Thats just how I see it anyways.

As I said, there were flashes of good and bad. If anyone can't acknowledge both, they're just not being honest. 3 INT's in a half is nothing to gloss over and scoring 15 points in a half with the game completely on your shoulders with no preperation is nothing to sneeze at. Let's see how he executes a gameplan specifically designed for him before we start talking about trading 2 first and 2 seconds for Brady Quinn (and while you're at it, someone will have to explain to me what makes Brady Quinn so great ... I've watched him upwards of 15 to 20 times and I'm not seeing anything special ... but I guess if everyone just repeats it often enough it has to be true).

It took Aikman a year to stop looking like a first round bust and Q, it seemed, was mostly useless for half a year. We have to play Romo at least 8 games to see what we have.

Convenient thinking.

I'm glad I'm not the only who thinks that way. I don't see Brady Quinn as a can't miss guy at all. My guess is the hype dies down on him and slides a lot in the draft. Either that or I'm crazy.

Yep, no such thing as a "can't miss guy".

Yeah, but I mean even a guy that most agree is a consensus number one draft pick, like a Carson Palmer, Aikman or even say Bledsoe. It seems he's considered that, but I just don't see it.

I admit there are some that have certainly watched Quinn more than me, but I'm not incredibly impressedbased upon what I've seen. Physically I think he's just ok, not great. Pretty good arm, not great. I've seen the ball float on him a few times, where he would have gotten it picked off in the nfl. Moves pretty well but nothing outstanding. Is mostly accurate, but not elite in terms of accuracy. Reminds me of Joey Harrington, but who knows. We'll see.

tony romo gives the cowboys the best chance to win, in my opinion, give him some work with the starters in practice every day , get the timing down, i think he gives cowobys the best chance. i feel bad for bledsoe, because he would be fine but the OL cant block anybody. i tell ya what, the def is still having some letdowns and thats dissappointing. i figured this to be a domminate def and their not playing like it. they need to improve also.

From a variety standpoint and getting people involved with the offense Romo was as I expected him to be.

I did think he would take better care of the ball though. I think a lot of his carelessness had to do with the situation he was in after his first pick and especially after T.O.'s drop and the Giants following score.

Down 3 td's and with no protection is not where you want your QB who has never played a game before earning his stripes.

Personnally, while I was for benching Bledsoe and playing Romo, I was not in favor of doing it in the middle of a game!

Wow. Just wow at the whitewash.
I know exactly what you're feeling. I was hopeful and happy to see Romo come in, and I'm still hoping Bill sticks with him for the rest of the season... but it's hard to root for the guy with all of these Romosexuals trying to blow sunshine up my arse.

These people are so hypocritical it makes me want to :puke:

Classic. And spot on. I root for him hardcore. Don't sell me some bag of crap that says hope is born. At this point, I "hope" we can turn the ball over less than 6 times per game.

Why do I get the feeling some people in this thread are happy we lost last night and both QBs struggled?

Name one.

I am excited about the kid, but his play last night left me cold. That was way below par and unacceptable.

Is this what we have been reduced to?

Trying to pretend Romos 3 interceptions werent bad?

"Romos INTs were better than Bledsoes INT's"

Funny because no matter who threw the ball in the end all I saw was a dumb *** decision and a blowout loss.

In a word...yes.

Romo is not Bledsoe. And that is the only thing that is important to a large number of fans.

Neither played well. Romo's picks were just as stupid as Bledsoe's. That screen pass int was just horrible.

I am amazed that the same people who would be crucifying Bledsoe if he made those throws are trying to say they werent bad simply because Romo threw them.

Misakes are mistakes, and being hypocritical about it does not change the FACT that Romo played horrible.

The only thing last nights game showed us is that both our QBs are bad, and that this season is finished.

Winning is whats important to me as a Cowboys fan, I dont care if they start you at QB and Hostile at kicker as long as we win.

Romo played horrible - but he might not be horrible.

That's all we have to hang our hats on now. It blows, but that's all we've got.

I have a better arm than Romo.

And I'm not kidding.
