1. T.O. returning to 2004 playing level.
2. Greg Ellis becoming the sack fiend he is today.
3. Bradie James turning into an all-pro inside linebacker.
4. Ken Hamlin being a stud free safety.
5. Still being an explosive offense without Terry Glenn.

The emergence of our O-LINE. They have been very good in pass protection. I'd like to see a little more in the run game, but it could be worse.

Very impressed and surprised by the success of Jason Garrett. We need to make sure that guy doesn't leave Dallas.

Oh, and the 8-1 record. Something I didn't predict at the beginning of the year. Obviously, very happy about this. :D

I wasn't 100% sure on Columbo and Adams, but when we signed Davis, I knew that we would be at least pretty good.

The 8-1 is definitely surprising as well. I was thinking 6-3 at the beginning of the year.

Bradie James certainly does not strike me as an all-pro.

Are you kidding me? He is dominating this year. He's making tons of tackles, getting into the backfield, and usually makes one or two drive-stopping plays a game. He is finally living up to his potential!

I wont say I am surprised but I thought Romo would have a harder time after the way last year ended. He is unreal.

If our whole defense played with the intensity demarcus ware and greg ellis play with, we'd have a mean defense. The defense isnt great, but at least they're finally getting to the quarterback. Oh ya, and has anybody heard anything about Steroid Boy Merriman 44 tackles 5.5 sacks and 1 FF. Not So great now without them enhancers. Big Ups to Ware who continues to play strong 52 tackles 8 sacks and 1 FF. All this with many double teams. :beer2:

How quickly Wade had this team ready. After hearing so many reports about Camp cup cake. Wade has done a great job getting this team ready for the season

They lost to the pats... Thats about it. I knew we had a great team and I knew with a coach that likes to attack and not run out the clock we would be the kinda team we were built to be.

The offensive line play has been the biggest surprise to me. I really didnt think they had done enough in the offseason to make much of a difference. I really didnt Kosier or Colombo were very good, glad to see I was wrong, AGAIN!

Lots of pleasant surprises with this team.

I'm not surprised that Romo is doing great, but he'll pull a couple of plays per game that leave me flatly amazed.

The high snap play vs. the Rams is an example.

Against the Eagles, a few plays were he almost miraculously managed to avoid the rush and flip the ball to MB3.

The TD throw to Curtis vs. the Giants.

There are times when watching Romo is sort of like watching Michael Jordan play with the Bulls ... you see the player make remarkable plays that you simply don't normally see or expect.

I am not suprised with TO. It is what it is. Feed it and it will GO!

It seems to be about scheme and the other help he has. He is a specialist. I love it. I thought he would be back after he had his injury and came right back out to sidelines in crutches last year.

Some dog on Bradie. He seems like a player.

Ken is a definite upgrade but he is a SS right.... we need a true FS. It could hurt us.

I am not surprised that we are explosive without Terry. TO is a #1 Terry is not never was. I still love Terry and want him back. If he could be back at 80% for the last 2 games of regular season and then the run through the playoffs. He could be a difference maker in a game.

So... none of the above really suprised me.

I guess what suprised me is the way the players have responded and had success under Wade. Whoever is responsible... I dont care... I like winning.... at any cost...

- The lack of carries by JJ. I won't be surprised if JJ is somewhere else next year.

- J Reeves. What can you saw. Wow.

- The Buffalo game.

I'm surprised that 1) our run D is so good and that 2) we don't give up big plays on defense despite being an attacking, upfield rushing team. I thought we'd make more big plays this year, but I thought we'd also give up a lot more at the same time and get gashed in the run from time to time.

I'm surprised at how much better Witten is blocking this year. Props to John Garrett or whoever is responsible.

I'm also surprised that we've won despite all the injuries to key people. In years past, an injury or two totally wrecked us. This year, we've kept rolling. It's great to see.

And how can you forget... Nick Folk. It looks like we hit on one of the best after years of being shaky at kicker.

One more thing that I neglected to mention: T.O.'s attitude. The guy has been a great team guy this year. Granted we're winning but still, the guy has been a model teammate. Heck, he doesn't even celebrate his touchdowns anymore!!

I would not go WOW over Reeves. Yes he has been a pretty good backup which is what we needed, but I don't think there is a wow factor in there anywhere.

1. The 8-1 record. We've had impact players hurt and still only have one loss. If it's a dream I don't want to wake up.

2. The fact TO has not been even close to any kind of distraction.

3. How much fun the coaching staff has even in front of the players.

4. The meteoric rise of Tony Romo from obscure backup to 67 million dollar man. Probably the most gratifying thing so far.

5. That some fans still aren't happy and spend all week frantically searching for anything to whine about.
