Think the Jones' boys are seeing Lawrence wreak havoc on the Vikes?

That's just a bunch of bs on your part. You have no idea about what you are talking about. If you don't like what they are doing now, it's just strange on your part. They are a 12 win team and favored to win the first playoff game.
So you think the Jones'are aware of how soft and vulnerable the front 7 is against the run? And you're happy with the players they've aquired to fix the unit? Good for you. I'm not happy with it as it stands today. You have no idea what you are talking about. The war is over Rambo, lighten up.

The DT position has been ignored for years. I thought Jerry would realize it's importance when the Rams used a guy off the streets to run up the gut of our soft defensive line. Nope, no such luck. Just throw more discount and undersized bodies in there. We will coach them up says Jerry as he takes another swig of whiskey.

They are 24 and 10 over the last 2 years and favored to win 1st playoff game. They are doing good
That says it all about you. Willing to accept less than the best
Willing to settle for good rather than reach for the best

If they really wanted to win they wouldn't of caved under Prescott's demands.
If they really wanted to win, Jerry and his son would realize that the one constant throughout the last 25 years where they have three total playoff wins is them. Players have changed. Coaches have changed. The only consistent thing since our last SB? Jerry and Stephen calling the shots.

They are the problem.

They claim they want to win; but their actions show that it is not really all that important to them
Making money and getting attention is what is REALLY important to them

Fwiw

Lawrence has been an All Pro….and Dallas could not have drafted him if we wanted to in 2019

loved him coming out, but was not an option.

The Giants took a pounding when they spent a first on Lawrence. He was regarded as absolutely a two down player who brought nothing pass rush wise in a passing league.

He became what he is now via coaching after he got there.

Just saying…..don’t ever expect Jones squared to use a high pick on a two down DT.

The ones that project to not have to leave the field are way out of reach. When we draft that high it ain’t gonna be someone without flash and jersey selling ability.

Yet how much clout does he REALLY have when the other two say NO?
He runs the draft as far as as building the draft board
I suspect Jerry has overruled him 1-2 times in last 5 years….though we do not know if hes even done it once….never Stephen

Boards are tiers, so yeah, if guys are about the same, Jerry and coaches could maybe sway a decision
I know the DC argued for DT Tristen Hill a few years in the 2nd and got him….awful choice though

Yep, it was their fault that Romo fumbled the snap, Murray fumbled, the Packers got away with holding, and the Dez catch was called incomplete.

LOL. That's like a handful of plays over 25+ years. Every team has those. Every single one has a handful of plays they can point to.

The ones that talk about it however are the losers. Which we have been for 25 years. One of the worst franchises over that span.

You are the worst homer on this board. Even worse than Rockport. You should be embarrassed.

This is an idiotic argument I hear all the time

If the Giants have had multiple too 10 picks and we haven’t it means we have had a better record and more talent than them. Therefore we should have required less talent infusion to get over the hump than they did because we already had more

Try to get your mind around this fact

We have done less with more talent for longer
I wasn't making that argument so I have no idea why you responded as you did. I was merely pointing out that the Giants have had a lot of top 10 draft picks and it should be expected that they would have a good roster. This doesn't mean they do have a good roster, although I think they do. If you look at all the draft the last 20 years you will find a high percentage of top 10 draft picks wind up in the pro-bowl. In fact, any simple analysis of draft picks will show that the higher a player goes in the draft the more likely he will make at least one prow-bowl. So It should be EXPECTED that 6 top 10 players drafted would produce some impact players.

In fact, I clearly stated that it is pretty amazing that the Cowboys have drafted lower over the same period and had back to back 12 win seasons.

Hopefully they do and it is the start of putting an end to that terrible run of playoff success (or more specifically lack thereof) over the last 25 years. But make no mistake, they have been an abysmal postseason team for the last 25 years. One of the worst in the entire NFL with the likes of the Lions and Commanders.

They love their 2nd and 3rd round 3-Tech DTs (Tyrone Crawfod, Hill, Gallimore, Osa). Then they try finding late round/free agent DTs to be the 1-Tech (Antwaun Woods, Bohanon, Ridgeway). It's a miracle they were even interested in Hankins. I don't expect them to change that philosophy

Quinton Bohanna is still with Dallas.
