The Bucs ain't the Lions. Like us, they were mathematically alive for a playoff berth on the very last weekend. Losing would be bad, but hardly a disgrace.

Well, I'm looking forward to this season. I honestly see good things down the road. We will win a playoff game ... mark it down.

This team has leaders now. This team has no excuses or anyone to point fingers at except themselves.

This team has a solid defense.

This team has a top 5 QB if he can hang on to the ball and stop the dumb interceptions.

How are the Steelers so much better than us? I mean really? Their oline is still a question mark. Would you take Santonio Holmes and Hines Ward over RW and Crayton? Do you like their running backs better. How about their secondary? Linebackers?

Each season comes down to winning the games you're suppose to, catching a break or making a big play in the close ones and staying healthy.

We have playmakers on this team now. I'm telling you that teams will not have an answer for Marty B. Teams will get beaten by Felix and probably often.

With the TE's we have, coverages will sink to the middle of the field. Safeties will have to help in coverage as both Witten and Bennett can beat a linebacker. This leaves man on man coverage outside. RW will win most of those battles.

And with the running game I hope to have, play action will eat teams apart.

Not really, if you actually look at the posts on the first and 2nd page, there aren't that many negative ones at all. There are probably as many ones talking about how negative things are as those that are actually negative. The rest of the "negative" stuff comes from articles written elsewhere. I don't see people running around screaming, "Oh god, the Bucs are gonna kill us!"

If we lost, people will be upset and they should be, it's been a long off season, you want to start off with a win.
