I expect us to start out pretty well, how we finish is a different story. I always look at the first game as just the first game. Win and it's nice, but really doesn't mean a lot. Lose and it sucks, but doesn't mean you're out of the season (unless you have major injuries).

We have no business losing to that pathetic team...If We do for some stupid reason lose, there is reason for concern.

We have passionate fans who may overreact time to time, and we have other "fans" who seem to love to instigate chaos.

I never avoid the forums after a loss ...Why? You have to take the good with the bad. To many people act like it's no big deal if We lose and everybody is going to do just fine. Every game is a must win for us...Have you looked at our last 5 games of the season? it is Crucial we start out fast. A loss to this tampa team would be an embarrassment.

This is THE easiest games of the year. If we lose to the bucs, I guarantee our season will end in a losing record. And I think we are going 11-5 this year.

Tampa ended last year losing 4 straight [at Carolina - L (38 - 23), at Atlanta - L (13 - 10), San_Diego - L (41 - 24), Oakland - L (31 - 24)]. These games are not the December games we had.

They lose their coach and coordinators. They change GMs. They promote Raheem Morris from within - a long time DB coach/assistant but first time head coach. They fire their Offensive coordinator a week before our game. They attempted to play the free agent market but fail signing the players they want because of stinginess. They decided to part ways with veteran players Jeff Garcia and running back Warrick Dunn in the offseason. They then began their purge - including losing wide receivers Joey Galloway and Ike Hilliard, tight end, Alex Smith, longtime Pro Bowl linebacker Derrick Brooks and defensive end Kevin Carter.

They have no idea what they are doing there. I heard they are locking themselves to a 2-2-1 RB rotation. Why would you announce your strategy before battle? Why are you acting as if the game occurs in a vacuum? Are there not other elements which might cause you to shift drives for RBs? One must question their offensive minds with such a strategy. Tampa fans can only hope this is a smokescreen.

Whats even more depressing for Tampa is their schedule. They play the entire NFC east by the end of week 5. It don't look good for this team. Things are going to get ugly, and I would not be shocked if Morris is fired during their bye week.

Yeah there will be meltdowns, for some reason, I can't get an honest read on this team yet. I guess after about 3 games, I should know all I need to know.

I've only seen a couple of negative threads, and Slate's poll had the vast majority of us at a confidence level of 7 or 8 out of 10. Seems like most of us are on the optimist side, so I don't see where your argument has any merit.

It isn't necessarily the threads themselves that are negative; it's the replies.
