The Giants’ defense is actually pretty good. They have a lot of talent there, especially on the line. It’s their offense that is horrendous yet they brutalized our secondary in a terrible way.

Bland was out & our corners weren’t on the same page as our safeties.

It was mental mistakes.

I worry about this zone defense because you’re passing off WRs to other zones & yesterday our corners were passing off WRs to nobody.

Diggs is a m2m cover corner. They were playing him in zone. If you watch some of the replays, he let guys run past because he was unsure who was covering who. When that zone wasn't working all game, you'd think they'd move off it in the 4th.

That does make sense. he did look confused all game.

I agree that it is an execution thing and not a talent thing, but regardless of that, they were beaten badly by a really bad New York Giants offense. I expect a better performance as the season progresses and hopefully sooner rather than later.

I couldn't figure out who he thought would be covering them tho. I mean, he knew the only defender deeper than him was also 20 yards inside. Why wasn't he wasn't backpeddaling to stay in position? Even if safety was to rotate to help from the inside.

That shouldnt' be happening over & over with a vet even if it's not his natural scheme.

If you watched anyone other than Dallas yesterday & the week before there is about 3 or 4 teams playing good football & it’s a sloppy mess with everyone else.

There is reasons for that of course but as the season goes on we will grow & get better.

Main thing is collecting wins early.

Those several years of being in a historically weak NFC led to those three 12 win seasons. It made the roster appear stronger than it really was.

Soon as we faced a real team in the playoffs those years we were one and done.

Diggs is horrible!!!!! Can’t cover and can’t tackle!!!!! Another over hyped, overpaid bum!!!!

Every DB on the team got burned by the Giants. It wasn't just Diggs. It is amazing how fans can lock on to one guy and ignore everyone else who played just are poorly or worse.

Ferguson has to be one of the biggest disappointments this season. To think they drafted Schoonmaker in the 2nd round - yikes. That 2023 draft looks like such a bust now. This is what concerns me about the Parsons trade. 2 late first round picks for a premier pass rusher and the track record of this team drafting the last 3 years.

We have the best run defense we've had in years but no pass rush. We locked up a average tight end. He's not explosive and isn't great at catching in traffic. The best hands on the team is Pickens but his routes aren't great. The run game is lime the parcels era. 2-3 yards which helps but we need an occasional broke tackle. We can't get buy with average play at tight end and running back. Something has to improve. Our run defense keeps us in games. But somebody needs to start getting sacks.

Run defense is not going to keep us in games if we cant rush or play pass defense.

Offense is the only thing keeping us in the game!

Dak and the offense were fortunate they faced probably the worst defense in the NFL today.

Not from what the announcers were telling us - They were saying the Giants D was much improved.

It didn't seem to be just him. There were multiple busted plays in that game. It looked like the 2020 Cowboys D again. The Giants converted a 3rd and 25 or 30 with a guy running wide open up the middle. Then the one on the right sideline as well. Wide open like the DB thought someone was behind him. That zone is getting torched.

that was a foolish move by Jerry. Ferguson is slow afoot and doesn't run good routes. Not even a great blocker. Luepke was another weird one. We don't even use him much.

hey listen, the 2 goobers aren't going anywhere. But the roster is good mostly. The problem has been injuries galore and key players making business decisions on the field based on feelings. The secondary just is overrated though. We need to revamp that. Diggs isn't right mentally or physically. Not sure he wants to be here. Might need to think about moving away from him soon. Culture change aint easy and will take time.

Parcells said it best, we are a dumb team. Ceedee is a MENTAL MIDGET at times. Ferguson celebrating by taunting an opponent each time he catches a 5 yard choice route is laughable, and DUMB. We can do better than him. Hes a meat head. Can't win with stupid.

Is it good? The LBs are awful. Ss stink. RBs are bottom 10 in the league. OTs are trash. It's not that good.

Jerry would need to replace most of the defense to be playoff competitive. The offense is mostly adequate but some improvements and depth on the OL would be nice.
