Until then they need to be proud of what they've done so far but know the giants offence was suspect to begin with. Denver isn't much better than the giants offensively so I expect we get another W there.

I see a difference. People act like this is the first trash offensive team we've played the past 3 years lol. But the fact is, it's the best defensive performance PERIOD! We made Blaine gabbert look decent last year. Go ahead and doubt it. I trust my eyes same way my eyes told me Jeff Heath could play since 2015.

You say you see a difference but then you resort to nostalgia of last season as evidence for what we have now. Our defense dominated a poor offense missing it's main playmaker. That doesn't make our defense the real deal. They may very well be the real deal but we have not seen that on display until its done to an offense that knows what it is doing.

It's real as in its attitude and physicality. Do we have a defense full of pro bowlers like Seattle? No. But a defense with attitude and physicality is real to me. Soft corners? Gone. Jaylon brings a physicality I haven't seen from a linebacker (watch the video). Heath hits harder than Church. The defensive line? Well, we were already the top ranked run defense last year.

I'm not sure who but someone already pointed out we can say the Cowboys defense is for real when they face an offense that is for real. The Giants offense was not a good measuring stick.

That said and all things considered, they had a good night, but as offenses go they may have faced their easiest test for the year against the Giants.

The defense is getting too much "love" for my comfort level.

With all the youngsters, breakdowns should be expected from time to time. I think they'll be consistently good vs. the run. Vs. the pass will be hit & miss.
