Simmer down, Jed
Let's see them duplicate what they've already done with the next guy first. Eventually the playground bully gets punched in the face. How are they going to react to that?So 2-19? Lol ok
Barring good health
Watch the play at 3:50 when's the last time we had a defense hitting like that? Sounds/looks like Seattle (no hyperbole). Chido a dog with the physicality as well. I love Will Mclay
And For the Taco haters, he got held on the very next play in the video. Patience
This defense can proclaim it is for real once it has defeated a real offensive oriented team like the Falcons or Packers. Until then they need to be proud of what they've done so far but know the giants offence was suspect to begin with. Denver isn't much better than the giants offensively so I expect we get another W there.
Eli hasn't been in HoF form for several season and with OBJ sidelined, who are the playmakers they are newly flush with? Your claims don't match reality and you don't have to exaggerate like that to be kind to our D. Our boys did good and like I've already said and some of you missed, "they should be proud of what they did".The giant offense had a sure fire Hall of Fame quarterback and was newly flush with playmakers until they got their *** thrashed Sunday night. This is the way it works. Offenses are pretty good until the Cowboys beat them, and then all the sudden they suck.
I don't care who it is, who is playing and who is not . When you hold a professional offense to three points you have played great D.

Holding any team in the NFL to 3 is hard, holding a team from even crossing the 50 yard line (NY crossed the 50 2 times) is hard. NFL rules favor offense so when a defense can come in a play to the level this defense did that is a very good accomplishment. Sure there will be a lot bigger challenges this team and this defense will face and they are not going to hold top offense to 3 points but this defense made plays out there, they did not play bend but don't break defense. They do deserve credit in this win vs NY. Some fans are acting as if what they did is easy it is not. I would think any fan would appreciate the fight and effort these guys showed. I guess is it just better to blast them than to give them credit.
I'm not sure what I said to spur that pep rally speech for our D. I said they should be proud of what they did.
But here is the the reality of the situation...
1) The Cowboy D is just that good.
2) The Giants O is just that bad.
3) A combination of 1 & 2.
I think it's 3.
Meh they did a good job but the Giants are no offensive juggernaut and we're missing their best offensive weapon.
The real tests are coming.
The Cowboys were 4-12 the season before they went 13-3. Records don't carry over from season to season so stop trying to pump up the Giants offense by bringing up their record last season. It's a meritocracy in the NFL, "what have you done for me lately?"... The Giants O is pathetic without OBJ and that's just the truth of it. If the Cowboys D are world beaters like you would have us believe then that performance they had versus the Giants should be repeatable. Can they beat up on the Denver O? Arizona O? and so on... maybeWhen people down play accomplishment it is aggregating, you guys act as if it no big deal. Given how the offense played in this game the Dallas defense was a big reason they won the game. Defense set up offense with very good field position though out the game and if offense played as they are capable of they should have blown NY out. It just seems any time Dallas wins we have those who come in and start this BS of how the opposing team is not good. NY 11-5 last season and in the playoffs as well as beating the Cowboys twice. So this was not some slouch team Dallas beat
I can see why ATT stadium is not rocking like so many others it is because Cowboys have more critics than they do fans who appreciate winning

No one is saying the Cowboys D can only beat poor teams. I just want to know how they well respond once they are punched in the mouth and who is going to do it?Of course Dallas won and we know they can only beat poor teams. Truth of it is no one was predicting Dallas would shut down NY as they did, truth is as mentioned holding any NFL team to 3 is no easy task. I do agree there are bigger challenges ahead for them and they like any other defense will give up plays and they will have to show that they can make the big plays in those game.
officially only 3 sacksI get that everyone will say Giants Oline is garbage and I agree, with one little exception. Eli is very quick to get rid of the ball. So while it may be less than impressive to bully that oline it is still impressive to get 4 sacks. (Yes the 4th one was a damn sack.)
