I hope the Cowboys win but am picking a Denver win in earlier post.

Good teams beat whoever is in front of them, no matter the record. That's what the Broncos have done. Beat down the 4 teams they've faced. With an exclamation point.

We are inconsistent. They aren't. I think that gives them the advantage.

There's similarities between this game and the Saints game in 09 but New Orleans was 13-0 and feeling the pressure of going undefeated that season. Denver is 4-0 it's way too early in the season for the undefeated talk to start up with them so they're not feeling any added pressure entering this game. Unfortunately this game is more reminiscent to the Cowboys/Patriots game in 07. NE was 6-0 heading into Texas stadium and like Manning is now Brady was on fire entering the game with 16 TD passes and had Welker as one of his targets. Brady put up 388 yards and 5 TD's that day while Welker added 11 catches for 124 yards and 2 TD's. The Cowboys defense had no answer for Brady or Welker that day. I see them having even less of an answer for Manning, Welker, Decker and Thomas on Sunday.

That Thomas guy is a beast.

I agree that this game has the feeling of a huge Dallas upset win. However, the difference between 2009 and this year is that in 2009, the Cowboys had a pretty good defense. They allowed just 0, 0, 6, and 7 points to the Commanders, Eagles, Commanders (first game) and Raiders, respectively.

Den -7

That line will go to Den -10 because casual fans who drool over Peyton will drive it up. By first glance, most everyone sees that line and says "that is too easy, lets bet on Denver". There is something fishy about that opening line which gives me hope for a win :)

People like to bet on the team they root for, Cowboys have a huge fan base that skews the line via their optimism. Denver should be a great bet, betting against the Cowboys is probably a good bet a lot of the time especially when they come off a win like the Rams game and fans are already starting to dream about Super Bowls

Big strong receiver who's dangerous after the catch. He was drafted ahead of Dez.

Every time I have flipped over to a Broncos game he's making a huge play for them. He reminds me of Andre Johnson.

With Peyton he's going to continue making a lot of big plays. His first 2 seasons without Manning he caught only 54 passes for 834 yards and 6 TD's.

I hate to break it to you but Denver is going to win this game in a blowout. This defense is not ready for Peyton Manning. It wasn't even ready for Eli Manning or Phillip Rivers. Our offense is good, but not great. It won't keep up, and will become one-dimensional, predictable and ineffective.

Well they are a lethal combo now. And Welker kills me. He just flat out knows how to get open. From Brady to Manning. Poor guy.

I am so tired of hearing people use the Saints game from 4 years ago as some kind of reason as to why the Cowboys will beat Denver. If the Cowboys do win this game, which I seriously doubt, it won't have a thing to do with what happened 4 years ago in New Orleans. These are two different teams in two very different situations.

i agree but why then do people refer to our record since 1996?

And let's not forget about Decker who had only 50 catches for 718 yards and 9 TD's his first 2 seasons without Manning. In 20 games with Manning he's put up 109 catches for 1404 yards and 14 TD's. Tebow time is a distant memory in Denver.

I`m not sure but I think he is talking about Julius Thomas the TE.

I assumed he was talking about Demaryius Thomas he's been terrific since Manning showed up. Julius Thomas hasn't been the beast Demaryius has been.

If feels like week 17 of 2008 when the EaGirls gave us the 44-6 beatdown.

That was one of the all time worst. Isnt that the game that was in the silver linings movie ?
