I like that scenario. D'Qwell Jackson was a projected top 15 pick going into last year. He is the defensive qb we have been missing since Woodson got hurt.

The bad part is picking up an undersized linebacker in the second.

Houston Reggie Bush, RB, USC
Best player in the draft.

New Orleans D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia
After signing Brees, they may look down, but the franchise bookend may be too good to pass up.

Tennessee Matt Leinart, QB, USC
The Titans may luck out with Leinart falling to three, teaming back up with his college OC, Norm Chow.

New York Jets Mario Williams, DE, North Carolina St.
A truly unique talent at end would be a difference maker in New York.

Green Bay A.J. Hawk, LB, Ohio St.
Would step in immediately and be a leader on defense.

San Francisco Vernon Davis, TE, Maryland
A young QB needs a safety valve, and Davis is that and much more.

Oakland Vince Young, QB, Oakland
Al Davis loves potential and hype, and Young is loaded with both.

Buffalo Winston Justice, OT, USC
The Bills have talent on offense, but cannot utilize it fully until the line is upgraded.

Detroit Michael Huff, DB, Texas
His versatility will draw a lot of suitors.

Arizona Haloti Ngata, DT, Oregon
Even with Dockett and the newly signed Clancy, the Cards lack a wide body to plug running lanes.

St. Louis Manny Lawson, DE, North Carolina St.
His speed off the edge is amazing, and would provide an immediate pass rush threat.

Cleveland Marcus McNeill, OT, Auburn
Shaffer is not enough to eliminate tackle as a need for the Browns.

Baltimore Brodrick Bunkley, DT, Florida St.
His ability to penetrate is second to none in this draft.

Philadelphia Chad Jackson, WR, Florida
His combination of size and talent will allow him to be a favorite of McNabb's.

Atlanta Antonio Cromartie, CB, Florida St.
His potential is too much to pass on for the Falcons.

Miami Eric Winston, OT, Miami
The Cane product remains in Miami.

Minnesota Jay Cutler, QB, Vanderbilt
After dealing Culpepper, they need a QB for the future.

Dallas Jimmy Williams, DB, Virginia Tech
After addressing WR and OT in free agency, they land a standout safety to pair with Roy Williams.

San Diego Santonio Holmes, WR, Ohio St.
With Brees gone, they need to find a goto receiver for Phillip Rivers.

Kansas City Gabe Watson, DT, Michigan
The Chiefs have failed to address the interior DL. They address it in a big way.

New England DeAngelo Williams, RB, Memphis
Could be a major steal this low.

Denver (from Washington) LenDale White, RB, USC
With Mike Anderson moving on, the Broncos need someone to team with Tatum Bell, and White is the perfect fit. He returns to his home state of Colorado.

Tampa Bay Tye Hill, CB, Clemson
The top cover corner in the draft gives the Bucs a great trio of corners.

Cincinnati Leonard Pope, TE, Georgia
As good as the offense is, a big target over the middle would take it to another level.

New York Giants Claude Wroten, DT, LSU
If they do not land LaVar Arrington, LB may have to be the pick here.

Chicago Marcedes Lewis, TE, UCLA
Lewis may be the best TE in this class, he just does not test that way.

Carolina Ernie Sims, LB, Florida St.
His speed has teams thinking Derrick Brooks clone.

Jacksonville Jonathan Joseph, CB, South Carolina
The Jags must address the corner spot, and Joseph has been a steady riser since the season began.

Denver Rodrique Wright, DT, Texas
Wright was once a potential Top 10 pick, but his lack of a killer instinct has pushed him down on some boards.

Indianapolis Laurence Maroney, RB, Minnesota
Edge is gone, but Maroney may bring comparable production for much less money.

Seattle Mathias Kiwanuka, DE, Boston College
This pick may be moved for John Abraham, but if not, they land the same type of player.

Pittsburgh Donte Whitner, S, Ohio St.
Chris Hope is moving on, and the position needs an upgrade anyway.

I think drafting Jimmy Williams and letting him roam the secondary would be a pretty sweet idea, I mean afterall the guy can play TWO postions extremely well so that would be a great bonus!!

As dumb as it might sound, if the draft went like that and we couldn't trade down, I'd take Pope because of how much two TE sets we use. It would be like drafting a starter. Another weapon on O, it would help out every player on offense.

Then in the 2nd with who's left in that mock, again assuming we couldn't trade down, Ko Simpson would have to be my pick.

I would love Williams with the 18th pick. He should be gone by then.

Here's GBN mock draft.

I like our picks if we don't trade down but I don't know much about that FS from Alabama?
The only problem with this MOCK is, we have no OLB at this point. We have a tackle and a guard, but zero OLB opposite Ware, and no FS. Those areas must be addressed first IMO.

I would love Williams too, but judging by that mock, we could get Carpenter in the 1st round and then Ko Simpson in the second. I would be VERY happy with that outcome.

If we don't draft a OLB in the 1st, ( I seriously doubt we do ) there is no way a 2nd rounder starts in front of Burnett THIS year.

Doesn't make sense to waste a 2nd rounder on a OLB who will not start this year, in a draft this deep with needs at WR, FS, OT, and OG.

Do anyone have his Pro Day #'s? I heard they were pretty bad.

Add to that the off field problems and attitude problems he reportedly has, I bet BP won't even have him on his Draft Board.

I like him at FS, but if you watch Reggie Bush's highlights you will see that Reggie destryoed Jimmy Williams in an one on one pass pattern. That concerns me, when you let a RB abuse you at your specialty. I know Bush is a lethal athlete, but Williams got burned bad.

Luckily mocks aren't usually very accurate and never accurate a month away.

Uh, no that draft wouldn't be horrible..

In the first round, we have our pick out of two explosive players in Jimmy Williams and Santonio Holmes.. it has us taking Williams.

Our secondary would be SET, and #1 in the league. Williams at FS would be ridiculous, because the guy can tackle like a safety, and cover like a corner.

In the 2nd round, according to that mock, Kamerion Wimbley was drafted 2 spots ahead of our pick. I really have to believe if he is that close to our 2nd rounder, we'd trade up.. we've shown a lot of interest in him.

A first two rounds of Jimmy Williams and Wimbley would make me wet my pants..

BP would not be happy with 2 picks in the 1st 4 rounds.
