If you take away the INTs he hasn’t played that bad. He was solid against Cleveland and the Giants. He brought us back from a huge deficit against Baltimore to give us a chance in the end. Despite his turnovers against Pittsburgh he led us on a game-winning drive in the final seconds. There’s a real good chance we would be 1-6 without him. If you don’t know what Dak is adding to this team then this is a waste of time.
What is that interception to touchdown ratio this season? Taking interceptions away surely covers that up and then just to say oh he isn't that bad. But even if he didn't throw interceptions, what about the problem that he just isn't very mobile anymore and you put a bit of pressure on him with a passrush and he will just sit there and take the sack. He looks like he has aged a lot from his peak.

Go look up his INT to TD ratio. His mobility is definitely not what it was.

Our franchise QB's last 4 games against this SF core:

  • 23/43 254 yds 1 TD 1 INT - L* (playoffs)
  • 23/37 206 yds 1 TD 2 INT - L* (playoffs)
  • 14/24 153 yds 1 TD 3 INT - L
  • 25/38 243 yds 2 TD 2 INT - L* (fake comeback + coming off bye week)
-0-4 record, 5 TDs, 8 Interceptions
-All 4 games on National TV
Let's be positive and recognize the improvement. In his two previous games, he had more INTs than TDs. At least this game, he had a 1:1 ratio between TDS and INTs. Similar to the first playoff game of 1 TD/1 INT with double the effort this last time around.

Don't forget about the 22 minute stretch in the 2nd and 3rd quarter we didn't get a first down.
Which is a direct factor in the "blame the defense for giving up so many yards" that some fans use to minimize the blame on Dak. When your QB is throwing INTs and leading too many drives that go 3 and out, it doesn't take much brain power to figure that our defense is going to wear down. Especially being short three of their top 4 players on defense.
