I think what posters mean is Dallas seems to dominate the bottom feeders as well you should but the SF game was painful to watch three years in a row. If the intent is a SB have to knock off the contenders not just the Dunkin Donuts on the dance card . I enjoyed this win .

Asim Richards at LT next week . Let’s see the rookie make a big impact .
Rookie LT against the Eagles?

I wouldn’t say a win “means nothing.” The offense looked significantly more efficient, and Prescott played a great game.

Tough to go on the road to Philly— but we avoided serious injuries, handled our business, and took some steps forward on O and did what we were supposed to do vs an inferior opponent.

Philly survived against Wash again— and they should be favored by 3 or 4 points next week.

We are going up there with as much mojo as possible IMO. Will it equal a W? I’d give Dallas a decent shot to pull out the upset.

LT is a concern . Down to the 3rd option . Asim Richards has shown some ability though the Cowboys may have made a nice late round pick on a T

Agreed. All of the overtly optimistic will come out and say “this is the real team! This is our real potential.”

Wrong.

This is the Jekyll and Hyde side of the cowboys we are witnessing here. Quite frankly, I’m not buying nor falling for it. We will come back down to Earth next week when Philly blows us out of the water just like the 49ers did. This team did nothing different than they did the past few weeks. They just played inadequate competition. They still looked sloppy. Still had stupid penalties. Playcalling was meh. Dak looked arguably the best of the season today but that’s not saying much.
8-3, my friend. 8-3.

They dominate anyone they get a 2-score lead on. Looked like Rams were going to be smart and keep running. Once that pass rush starts, ST feeds off it, and the game is over. What we’ve seen in every win except Chargers which was a ‘close‘ game.

This isn't basketball or baseball where you play 100+ games, so every game matters.
However, for the Cowboys, the regular season is a mere formality. By talent alone, they're a playoff team
The test for Dallas and Dak and Quinn and McCarthy and Micah will be the final game before the NFC Championship.
I praise Dak for how he plays in the regular season, but that's not my measuring stick for him.
My measuring stick is the playoffs and beating the Eagles and the 49ers when the game plan is stacked against him.
Does he have the wherewithal to play above himself and will this team to victory?
Will McCarthy call the perfect plays and the perfect game plan?
Will Micah be otherworldly in the game that puts us closer to the Super Bowl?
That's what and when I want answers to these questions - not necessarily the regular season.

Win games, they do not matter and are marginalized. Only next game counts.

Lose the same game and the season is over because it was a make or break game.

Things that make you go hmmmm

Tyron will play in Philly. And play well. I think they conserved him today and he will get the benefit of 3 weeks between snaps by kickoff time next week

I bet this game would have "meant something" if they lost.

A Win is a Win. They can only play who they are scheduled to play. Enjoy it.
They All mean something! Specially if its a "L". Because it seems that Losses causes team to Spiral and then here comes the Finger Pointing, Trade rumors, Contract and who's not happy with who. A Win does Alot for a team. It can spring board a team into believing that they have the Team to get the job done. But I Do Agree " ya gotta Beat the 49'rs" first! Then get that NFC crown or it's a Bust !!

How bout them Cowboys! Beautiful win today. Let’s be real though, the real battle is next week.

Key takeaways:

- Daron Bland at or near Trevon Diggs level
- Defense domination
- Dak played lights out (besides that throw into quadruple coverage that resulted in a pick)
- Play calling was phenomenal
- O-Line significantly stronger this week

I can’t find much to complain about today guys. They played great. Anytime Rush is in before the game is over is a good day. But this win means nothing.

The true test is next week. We need to make up for the 49ers loss, and if they want to prove themselves and really win a Super Bowl this year they beat the eagles and stay breathing down their neck all year. And if they don’t they probably don’t deserve it.

What do you guys think? What did you see today that yall didn’t like?

This game means nothing? UH?

Other Than a Wasted Post.. With This Win It Means a Whole Lot.. Striking Distance Staying Close The Philly an a Possible Div Crown

I get the need for Playoff success. I'm right there with ya.

But it is only October. If you want to worry about Playoff football when we are not even 1/2 way through the season, go for it. I couldn't care less.

But for me, I'm going to enjoy the wins when they come and will just have to wait and see what happens come January / February.

If they fail in the Playoffs again, then I will be right there begging for changes in the offseason.
