This game was deeply disturbing

Of course this is the absolute most accurate post you will see on this board for the next 4 months.

But it's never going to happen. The Jones family loves Garrett and all they need to keep him, even in another non-playoff season like this one likely will be, is excuses. And they have plenty - Lee hurt, Smith hurt, Elliott suspended, etc.

Just accept that reality and adjust accordingly whether or not you want to invest a lot more of your time and money into this franchise.
Oh I totally have adjusted my time commitment to this team this season. I turned that **** off after our first possession of the second half. It's 2017 - I have better things to do if the game sucks.

Arthur Blank isn’t laughing at Jerry Jones. He’s laughing at the fact that he almost hired Garrett. Garrett would have been fired by now if he took the Falcons job, but he knew what he was going waiting on Jerry to fire Wade and hire his HS level it’s a process coaching trainee no good...
It was the Ravens that was going to hire Garrett

We came out trying to play the EXACT same game as if we had Zeke /Tyron offensively. We continued to do so even after it was apparent that plan would not work.

It's concerning because either the staff genuinely thought there would be no drop off or was simply incapable of coming up with a plan to compensate.

We didn't play well, but the players were not put in a position to succeed.
If you ask some of the poster here, they'll tell you it's everybody's fault except for Garrett.

its Simple the offense runs through Zeke he’s what makes it tick. It allows Dak to play it safe and they wear down the Dline with him.

The coaching staff is horrible period end of story

The staff isn't nearly as awful as many here would believe (awful coaches don't have multiple 12+ win seasons in the NFL), and the game plan last week was fantastic.

This game however was a systemic failure from everyone involved.

We'll see.

Good coaches don't need a personnel advantage at every position to be competitive either.

"Good coaches" aren't inconsistent and up and down every other year (or repeatedly 8-8) either.

Zeke's absence has little to do with what happened today. Nothing is running through anyone with the way the oline played.

That's just too dumb to even comment on. Just what exactly did Romo ever win? Get real.

You just commented on it. So there is that to observe.

But regardless. Many attribute the team's success last season with Romo mentoring Dak on how to call plays to help overcome the dysfunction on the sidelines.

You may not be one of them. Granted. I am.

They were not able to wear the Dline down. Zeke wears the Dline down. Atlanta adjusted the game plan knowing Zeke wasn’t there. They were not afraid of the run game.

Not disturbing to those of us who expected it, Dak isn't a guy that can carry, he needs an elite OL and RB.

He needs a decent OL at least. What we watched today was not decent. Him needing an all-pro RB is undetermined imo (see OL)

It had a lot to do with it IMO. With Zeke, they run more. With Zeke, they don't go sack happy. With Zeke, they get more on 1st down. With Zeke, they don't pabic and go pass happy with terrible routes and no blocking. Zeke makes the line look better as well.

Losing Zeke was huge. Dallas won without Smith when we had a bellcow.......

I have long thought that Garrett has some kind of mental problem. REALLY. Ive seen it way too many times before. He simply refuses to change what he is doing,....NO MATTER WHAT. Even with a couple minutes to go in the game and after they installed Bell at left tackle,...STILL NO HELP. I mean C,mon. I dont know what to say anymore. This guy is a friggin NUT and its high time somebody in a leadership position FINALLY recognizes it.

As I asked before in another thread, where do you expect Zeke to run, behind this line today? It's not a slight to Zeke, of course his presence was missed, but his absence was hardly the reason we lost.
