This team has no football IQ or attention to detail.
It plays penalty filled football.

100% no way the coaches say touch the ball there. As someone who’s played their whole life it’s taught since pee wee. Those are 2 blunders where plays are trying to make a play (incorrectly btw) because it’s natural instinct. Very stupid, yes but that’s not something’s that taught.

As long as players know they can go over the coaches head, straight to Jerry, there won't be any discipline on the field. The staff has no real authority and the team knows it. Penalties and bonehead plays have been a problem long before MM got here and will be here as long as the Jones' own the team.

Only twice in the last 10 years has a blocked punt traveled less than 20 yards, and the punting team got the ball back. Both times it was the Cowboys who blocked the punt, yet didn't gain possession.

The JonesBoys are so damn good at miracle choke stats like this. Romo is the only QB to lose a game where he had a 140+ rating, and did so twice.

How many times has there been something along the lines of "the last 1500 games were won by so and so... the Cowboys are the only team to lose this way"?

I fully believe the entire organization is cursed due to Jerry Jones karma.

They don’t just lose, they do it in historic fashion.

Freak plays, first to blow a one seed, first to do it twice, first to lose a 2/7 game….etc, etc….

The best seasons over the Jerry ego trip reign (not counting when he stayed out of the way) were actually the most disappointing in the end. It’s brutal and there’s no end in sight.
